New Bohemia Wurst and Bier House is the transformation of a traditional bier hall into what we like to call the “New American Craft Bier Hall” pouring 36 of the finest local and International Craft beers in the country. New Bohemia features over 24 different all natural sausages made from whole cuts of meat, no artificial flavoring, and zero nitrates. Our sausages are made right here in Minnesota. Buns and pretzels made by hand in the traditional German style. Fries are hand-cut everyday and all sauces, mustards and topping are made fresh in every restaurant.

We had a fantastic time! I really appreciated the wide selection of beers on tap, featuring both local and out of state options. The food was excellent as well. We sampled a mix of traditional and exotic bratwurst. Among the unique offerings, we tried the smoked elk, which was tasty but didn’t quite blow us away. I loved the range of toppings available; we opted for bacon-braised sauerkraut and fresh onions, which complemented the flavors nicely. We also enjoyed a classic beer brat, a mac and cheese brat, and a Korean burger. I don’t believe the prices are bad because the food is leveled up. Overall, this place is a wonderful spot for exceptional beers and a creative twist on pub fare.

The pretzel here is amazing. The fried pickles were also delicious. The burgers and brats are different. I haven’t been impressed by the brats. Hubs liked his burger. It’s just really expensive, so I’m not sure when I’ll go back. The music was super loud, which made it difficult to visit.

We enjoyed a rainy day late lunch. The pretzel appetizer is GIANT and very yummy. You can see why this is listed in the top 10 places for brats in MSP. We will plan to come back for other meals and beers!

My wife and I went on a Sunday afternoon. When we came in, the music was at a volume level, which was great, we were able to hear it well and still visit. Then, someone turned it up so loud I was having trouble hearing myself think. I noticed others who were enjoying the Sunday afternoon vibe, but left soon after the Saturday night vibe came on. After the music came up, I got the impression they are trying to be a “college bar”.
The food is always good, but the prices are very high for what you get. Everything is a la carte, no sides. $9 for a hotdog? I know the pretzel is huge, but it’s not $19 huge.
It’s self-serve, so it’s difficult to say you get great service.
Overall, it was less than enjoyable and for the $90+ dollars spent just for the two of us, I wouldn’t recommend .

This was a very pleasant experience. Jason was outstanding and made us feel so welcome, if more people like him existed the world would truly be a better place. Food was yummy and very fairly priced! Will be returning here soon 🙂

From mini corn dogs to the Smoked Elk w/jalapeño & cheddar Wursts, or maybe you might want the Lamb Gyro Brat? This place has the BEST for all of the above, including the BEST Bavarian Preztel served with enough Pepper jack cheese dip! Just come by for the Beer selection. I am impressed. This place is now on our rotation, and we will keep coming back to enjoy it all. I will continue to post updates with new pictures.

Dinner was so delicious. The pickle fries are extra special good. I’ve never seen them done this way and they were a TOTAL winner. I’d absolutely get these every time. The dogs and fries were good and the offering of unique flavors is always fun. Great beer match. We’ll be back!

Got the giant pretzel w/ pepper jack cheese dip, amazing! And the juicy Lucy brat with Philly toppings. Very satisfying love the toasted bun to hold it all together. Their drinks are mighty tasty as well.

Jen and Matt are the best! They closed the restaurant for a private event for the memorial service for my dad. They made the planning process easy and on the day of the event everything well so well. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding! The German potato salad was a huge hit as well as the jumbo pretzels and the yummy wurst! Highly recommend for your event!

A welcoming and friendly venue with looong wooden tables and benches that bring everyone together around a wild selection of brats and wurst and large selection of beers on tap. Brats and dogs come with your choice of two toppings. A variety of mustards and ketchup are easily within reach from your table. Great fries. Tasty dipping sauces. Friendly staff. Free parking in the lot makes it an easy and fun place to meet up with friends. Large TV screens offer a variety of sports channels. If you’re looking for a quiet place, this is not it. But if you’re looking for a place with a crescendo of conversations filling the air, you will love it here.
