We planned a Galentines Brunch for just under 10 and our server, Ember, was phenomenal. She was attentive and kind, allowed us to separate our checks without any pushback and got all of our orders right! She made sure we always had refills and all the food came out together so no one was sitting unsure what to do while others were still waiting. The food was very tasty and you got quite a bit, we all needed boxes to go! We were there until about 10 minutes before closing and no one was ushering us out or being pushy about needing the table. They just let us enjoy our time together without any complications and were incredibly accommodating. I would 100% recommend this place for brunch and gatherings. Thank you Ember and Jelly Cafe!

If you read any review, let this one be your deciding factor. Never in my life have I known such top tier quality in service, food, and care that compares to this place. I have lunch with my father regularly. The wait staff, all the way to the bus boys and hostess staff all treat my father with respect and kindness. They are kind and gentle with him as if he was kin to them. It absolutely warms my heart the absolute kindness this place brings. Their quality of food matches their kindness, unparallelled freshness. Their prices can get a bit pricy sometimes, but for food and the amazing service and kindness they show to the people that mean the most to you, so worth it. If you want to make the most cherished and wonderful moments with your family that you’ll remember for a lifetime, let this place be the one to do that for you.

The smash burgers at Lucky’s are great! Limited menu but you should come for the burgers. Fries are also great. Every time we’ve been there, it’s never crowded. Lots of tables and several booths.
BTW, same place is called the Jelly Cafe for breakfast and lunch. I’ve had the crepes and they were excellent!
The service has always been quick and friendly. Prices are very reasonable.

Amazing service and company. Condiments are homemade and the chicken sandwich and burger are also homemade and awesome. Service was amazing by an older gentleman who was very kind and polite. The cook rocks and so does his food. He even came out to greet us. Get your friends here for a pregame before going out becuase the prices are amazingly low for such great food. Highly recommend coming here and will definitely be coming back. My highest compliments to the chef!

Met a friend for lunch. Great service. Good menu – I’ll have to go back for breakfast and the salads sometime. I had the chicken panini with pesto, spinach and artichoke. Fresh ingredients. Good waffle fries.

Ever since we have moved to Palatine I love going to this place. It has a very comfortable and cozy environment and very family friendly. One time I even forgot my credit card after paying them but when I’ve been back there they had saved my credit card and gave it to me I’m upon checking my ID.
The food is always good my all time favorite is vegetable skillet. The staff is very friendly and always smiling and we always order waffles or pancakes.

We stopped here after a hike at Deer Grove trail and had a wonderful brunch. We both got omelets, which were delicious and flavorful, and I had a side of the sourdough toast and sweet potato fries. It was busy and the parking lot was full, but they were quick to seat us. Definitely a recommendation!
