We have gone here at least 20 times, and we have had a great experience every time. By far my favorite place to get sushi in this area. Service is always great. Reasonably priced. Thanks to the staff there. Couldn’t ask for a better place to have near us whenever I want a good meal. Best sushi in the area

The service was absolutely amazing. Each staff member was kind and attentive. Our food arrived quick and our waitress joked with us to order more when we were full! I’ve been to a lot of sushi spots, but Mr. Sushi is on another level. The fish is incredibly fresh, the rolls are creative without being over-the-top, and the presentation is always on point. The staff is super friendly and attentive, and the vibe is cozy and welcoming—perfect for a casual dinner or even a date night. I highly recommend the Dragon Roll and the Chef’s Special sashimi platter—both were absolute standouts. Definitely my new go-to sushi place!

Best all you can sushi around, hands down no competition. I have been too many times to count and will always continue to come back. Price is like $28 at time of posting and an absolute steal if can eat 6-7 rolls at a time. I recommend getting the special as they are bigger and cost more overall to make. Not only is the sushi amazing but so are the appetizers that are included in the all you can eat, plus they cook them and bring them out to you in like 1 minute. The best service out of an restaurant I have went too also, they always refill my water without asking ever, are super fast with any request you have and never give an attitude or talk much at all.

Sushi was pretty good. The yellow tail was actually really good. Tuna was okay. Good selection of rolls and the kitchen selections/salads were tasty. Good service, the place is fine but nothing fancy.

And there’s a reason for it as you will discover soon later on in this review.
Now, once again, like most AYCE locations, the reviewers who gave 5 stars, is because of their lack of experience with much higher quality locations. I feel 3.5. is fair and accurate.
Now from the outside you would think, “Did I come to the right place?” Because it doesn’t look very appealing, but once you step inside, it has a cute dining area, and it is very clean.
Now for the main part. The quality of the fish used for their sushi is not up to par compared to most of its competitors.
Actually, they fall very short.
The only sushi that was worth ordering again was their Unagi, which is the freshwater Eel, and their Salmon. Their Salmon sashimi and nigiri were actually pretty good.
Now why did I give 3.5 despite the overall quality of the fish being poor?
Reason #1
As some of you may know, the majority of AYCE locations in the Tri-State area are owned by Chinese people. That being the case, the majority of AYCE Sushhi locations offer the same service you get at most $10 Chinese buffets.
No smiles. No communication. No serving.
This is where Mr Sushi differed for me. The service at Mr Sushi exceeded the service of most other AYCE locations, which you can tell by my reviews, I have been to many.
I, am a rule, will always choose decent food and great service, over delicious food and horrible service. The waitresses at Mr Sushi are awesome! But their food quality does need to improve.
Reason #2
Their green tea, red bean, and chocolate ice cream are amongst the best I’ve ever had from buffets and AYCE locations.
The prices of gas and tolls makes it a difficult trip to make, but only if the fish quality improved, I would make it bi-weekly.
There is no separate lunch menu as the same menu is served all day.
If you were planning on making a trip, here is what you should order:
Eel Nigiri
Salmon Nigiri and Sashimi
Japanese Sausages
Pork Ramen Noodles
Beef Teriyaki
Beef Yakitori
Shrimp Tempura (a must)
Crab Tempura
Spider Roll
Pork Buns
Chinese Donuts
ALL THEIR ICE CREAM!
As I drove back to PA and crossed the bridge and paid my hefty toll, I could only think “What could have been….”

Average quality sushi but it’s all you can eat so it’s a good value and its always fresh. Service is decent and there are tons of people around to serve and take your order. Our order came out surprisingly fast. I really couldn’t believe how quickly our sushi order was made and brought to the table. It’s a BYOB which is a huge plus. The atmosphere is always busy, kind of loud and fun. Mr. Sushi is our favorite All You Can Eat Sushi place in the area.
