We dined tonight for my Daughters Birthday. We chose the buffet and we’re not disappointed. The food was refreshed frequently. Staff were lovely , very friendly! The star of the show was yhe chicken pakora WOW! First time trying Jeet but will definitely be back

Been for food her plenty of times and it never disappoints!, this year we decided to have a Jeet for Christmas Day. Ordered and paid in advance, ready for the requested time, the order was correct, piping hot and delicious! 10/10 jet! Well done

We had a great Indian here at Jeet. The service was on point. The venue is spacious. The menu is extensive with lots of options you wouldn’t usually get at other Indians. For starters my wife got haggis pakora and I went with this meat dish which I can’t remember the name of but it was nice. The haggis was nice but I prefer it crisper on the outside. The starters came with salad which didn’t look very appetising but we aren’t massive salad lovers anyway. I went with the chef’s recommendation for main which was a selection of 4 different curry’s (tapas style) which came of rice and chapati. These were all delicious. The lamb and chickpea curry was my favourite. My wife went with the lamb Pasanda which she loved! We also ordered garlic naan as a side. The naan was good, although I’ve certainly had nicer. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and evening at Jeet.

I’ve just ordered a takeaway it took over an hour to be delivered the food is cold and now we wait whilst we warm it all up again . It wasn’t cheap either I’m very disappointed and would probably not use this restaurant again ! Saturday 5th December 2025

This has recently opened as an Indian restaurant that had been a Chinese one for many years. I was greeted as I walked in and shown to a table quickly. The place is very clean and tidy with pleasant background music playing.
The menu is quite extensive and reasonably priced, on a par with similar restaurants. The waiters were attentive and my meal arrived fairly quickly. Difficult to judge whether this is the norm as, sadly, the place was not busy but hopefully it does as people realise that you can get a lovely meal.
I had the Lamb Biryani, which was delicious and a very good portion size, I also had a naan bread to accompany. Finished off with a cup of coffee which was nice and strong

I stayed in Forfar for work, the hotel restaurant was abysmal, so I took to wandering and discovered Jeet.
It’s an authentic Indian restaurant. With great food and a friendly service. I was in Forfar for two nights and came for my evening meal both nights. Wonderful, wish it was my local.

Went walking in glen Doll, stopped here for a pint on way back, lovely big wedding venue but with restaurant and walkers bar, really warm atmosphere with log fire, food looked great but went to walkers bar, staff and service great.

Peshawari Naan. is what we ordered and it was not what it said online. It had no flavour, chicken was dry, sauce was tasteless. we phoned up and complained and they took no responsibility and the guy on the phoned said ‘We will not accept this complaint.’ he was incredibly rude and unhelpful. we offered to send the food back. but they refused. We waited a few days for the refund and when it came they give us £19.90. my mother was a regular customer with no issues. but that night was horrible. do NOT recommend. After they charged us extra for delivery and we get barely anything back. I myself work at a takeaway, as a front girl who also deals with complaints and taking orders. i would never EVER talk to a customer the way they did. no customer service skills. as a person who has nearly four years of customer service experience they surely did lack it. never ordering here again. and i’m sure as hell phoning again to get my money back. Who ever took my complaint over the phone to my kind disabled mother, you should be ashamed of yourself. me and my mother wanted a nice meal and you let us down.

My friend and I had a meal here last night and can’t recommend it highly enough. Friends had recommended this restaurant to us and it’s didn’t disappoint. I had passanda chicken and my friend had the butter chicken. It was cooked to perfection. The peshwari naan was AMAZING. We will be back.
