The Jax crew recently catered my husband’s birthday party at my home from start to finish. Everything was absolutely wonderful.Jax’s Food truck arrived outside early and prepared an amazing upscale plated dinner for 20
The food truck is beautiful and what amazed me is that they prepared everything from my husband’s favorites, including stuffed squash, blossoms, and Filet mignon with a mushroom duxelles Sauce all prepared by the chef working in the truck
And you needn’t worry because Alan brings the music with him from cocktails to hors d’oeuvres to entertainment this place does it all?
The food was delicious, beautifully presented and enjoyed by all our guests.
What was amazing is that I was able to relax and truly enjoy the evening and not worry about cooking and cleaning up in my kitchen

Jax Bistro and Bar is very good! Came at 6:15 on a Saturday without a reservation and the hostess sat us within 10 minutes outside. It was very chilly inside so glad we got to sit outside.
All entrees come with either soup or salad and are around ~$30. The portions are generous and we all loved our food. I had a huge piece of trout that was cooked to perfection. Flavorful, juicy and crispy. The potatoes and veggies were buttery and seasoned well. My mom’s salmon was also very good, super thick and moist. Had a very char grill flavorful though that I thought was over powering. I saw other tables receive bread but we never got any.
Staff are very friendly and seem to have fun doing their job. I would definitely come back again. And I highly recommend this place, make a reservation if you can!

We have been here many times for lunch and dinner. I have never been disappointed. We are usually surprised at the food quality and taste. This is our favorite spot in the neighborhood. Try the specials they are fabulous. The bartender is fantastic. Great spot to catch a bite or go to dinner. Love it!

First time dining here. I actually ordered, a French Dip Sandwich to go a month ago. While I waited, (I believe it was the owner), I was asked if I wanted a drink while I wait. Wow.! That was nice – I obliged and tried a shot of his choice. It was great. I then stayed for a drink from a lovely patron sitting at the bar having his meal. This place was stellar the first time I ever stepped foot in it!! I wanted my Fiance to check it out because he loves Italian food. We finally had a chance to make it there for dinner. It was PHENOMENAL. We arrived around 5/515p, no bar seats (we love sitting at the bar). We wanted the round high top near the bar, but the hostess refused. We presume since the high top was sat for four and we were only two, we weren’t able to sit there. We ended up sitting at another high top but rectangular table (not round and near bar) which sat four (not sure what the difference was?). It all worked out however as our server Kamlyn, was top notch! Her service was the experience of being at a fine dining place. The food was absolutely excellent! Italian Duo and Clams Linguini – delicious! Tasted fresh and portions were on the big side. Our cocktails were average, but we didn’t go there to drink. We will most definitely return to try other dishes no doubt. And we’re definitely asking for Kamlyn. The amazing service of Kamlyn and the outstanding food dishes cancelled out the disappointment to sit where we wanted. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This was our first time going to Jax On a busy Friday night, we were greeted by the sweetest hostess who got us seated with a very short wait! Then our server was So sweet, so attentive gave great suggestions and then the food was fantastic. My husband and I both had the French onion soup and it’s the best we’ve had anywhere in the area.!

What a cool bistro! We just went for the first time with 2 other couples as one of them had been before and recommended it. All six of us really enjoyed Jax Bistro. The place looks nice and has plenty of outdoor sitting. Everyone’s food was excellent and our server Alana was very helpful and honest. The owner came out to greet us and speak with us which is always a nice touch. We will definitely be back soon!

Have done the Happy Hour often and love the drinks and bar bite choices. Did a dinner for 6 tonight just to see if the main menu was also good….it is. Only one of the 5 meals wasn’t wonderful. Salads and soups were fresh and delicious. We requested some fresh bread and that was great. Had a Tartufo for dessert that was the best I’ve ever had. Just a cute little place with good help and a good attitude. Busy hours slows down service a bit but no big deal. Plenty of easy parking in a well lit shopping center.

We stopped in for lunch. Order consisted of a BLT with fries and a meat lovers flatbread. The BLT was only OK- the bread was doused in butter which was off putting and messy. My peer had the flatbread and he said it was fine.
The service was good and the staff were friendly.
While I do not recommend the BLT, I would go back and try a different menu item.

We had been here 5 years ago when it was a deli and now a bistro and bar. I understand the same owners. An unusual menu with Italian entrees, deli sandwiches, burgers, and salads. Small wine list. On a Saturday night, it was packed.
I assume a summer special because all entrees come with a choice of soup or salad. I opted for the FRUTTI DI MARE, bits of lobster, shrimp, clams, and mussels served over linguini in a white wine tomato clam broth. It was just fair. My wife tried the ITALIAN MEATLOAF, seasonal vegetables, potato of the day. She also thought it was just ok.
