One of the best kept secrets in Saratoga. By far the best sushi anywhere (including down state). Located in a strip mall, completely unassuming, Great Tangs offers sushi, Chinese and Thai dishes. Everything we have ever ordered has been absolutely delicious! Friendly staff, incredibly talented sushi chef and lovely owner to boot. Cannot sing enough of its praises!

The food at Tangs is delicious. I had the Dragon and Phoenix. The Dragon could have been spicier to my taste. Next time I will ask for increased heat. The Phoenix’s was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, coupled with sauce and scallions what flavor. Others in the party had sushi , along with my eel. A great meal.

We have had years of good food from Great Tang. But last night, the language barrier led to being charged three times on credit cards for our takeout meal. My wife had paid over the phone, and the woman at the counter insisted it was NOT paid for when I showed up to get it. They also never seem to hear or understand our special instructions like brown rice or no green pepper. We are seriously considering not going there any more. I could see where eating in would still be fine, but I have lost confidence in that, as well.

I do understand how this rest got high ratings …I ordered General Tao chicken which was saucy but lacked flavor. Pork rice is bland. The spare ribs were tough…Egg roll was crispy but no real flavor. Best part of my order was soup.

Hand down the BEST Chinese food I’ve ever had and the FRESHEST tastiest sushi I’ve ever had!! I highly recommend the Philly Roll. Can’t say enough good things about Great Tangs. We order food from them almost once a week, that’s how good it is! And the staff is sooo very polite and friendly!

Great food and service. Fast, warm and delicious. Love their chicken and broccoli with brown rice. Special treat is pork egg roll on the side. Very clean establishment and plenty of free parking. Close to other stores, including grocery store, if need be.

The worst Chinese food ever, we ordered Vegetable pad Thai, almost no vegetables, what was there was overcooked, Orange beef was a soggy mess, we ordered at 4pm, while picking up the cashier asked for a tip. I said we tipped 15% already….he claimed we didn’t even though it was clearly indicated on invoice.

Ordered Sesame chicken and the coconut shrimp. They gave me sweet and sour chicken, the shrimp batter was still gewy and undercooked. The sauce just tasted like sweet and condensed coconut milk.

Disappointed as usual…Been in Saratoga for 4 years……I still have yet to find any Chinese food to come close to Central Jersey…The reviews obviously come from their peak, fresh, cooking times. Another lesson I learned, besides the fact of being weary of ANY Chinese spot around here, is never order anywhere close to closing time. My “pre-fried” dumplings were microwaved. General Tso and Orange Chicken dinners were the exact same order of the chicken you would normally see with sweet n sour, jus with leftover liquids n a dash of sesame. Saddest display to date with what they pass off as a 4 or 5 star debacle. AND have the balls to charge what they charge. Actually wanted to go back and leave the food on the counter and not even ask for a dime back…………SAD….suckers Are born every minute

Made an online order today! Worse idea ever! Was missing a Dynamite Shrimp roll, so I called to let them know and see if we could pick up later. Spent the next 20 min agruging with the person that answered the phone that I did not have it!! He would NOT accept that maybe they made a mistake. Nope decided that trying to gaslight me and tell me I have it where I absolutely do not. Terrible experience! Do not recommend!
