The place doesn’t look like much from the outside. But inside its calming and beautiful, the artwork on the wall was just stunning. The staff were pleasant and polite. Food was delicious and service was fast. We had the crab rangoons, vegetable fried rice, egg drop soup and vegetable lo mein. We will be coming back!

We had a very nice dinner at Great Tang’s. Our waitress was very attentive checking back with us several times.
The crab Rangoons were delicious. Loved the General T’s shrimp and my husband loved the orange beef. The broccoli was cooked just how I like it!
Would definitely recommend.

3.5 ish…All the food was fine. The “fried” gyoza and dumplings were actually fried in a fryer it seems…not pan or wok fried, so a little sad. The sushi entrees were the star of the show as were the egg rolls. Staff very friendly and helpful. If you want to dine in the inside was warm and inviting.

This place has been on a steady decline for the last 2 years which is really unfortunate. Not sure if they changed ownership or not but either way this place isn’t the same as it used to be. They’ve since gotten rid of their cocktail menu, and when asked about it the waitress had no idea what I was talking about. She was nice, but missed the detail completely about my vegan friend wanting general tso’s tofu – not chicken so he bit straight into a piece of chicken when it was served to him. Taste is kind of “meh” and mostly seems drowned by sugar to mask the absence of flavor and the fried rice was god awful. So disappointing because this place used to be top notch and one of my favorites

It was not busy at all for a Saturday lunch. The sesame chicken was a little too sweet for me. The shrimps with mix vegetables were too salty, too much sauce. Lunch meals were served with rice but no soups or salad. Any effort to decorate their plates as before at their opening; years ago.

Although I cannot fault the staff – very friendly, seated and served us promptly. The food was another issue. I had initially planned on ordering the Mongolian Chicken and was disappointed to learn it was no longer available. I ended up ordering the pepper steak with onion and pork fried rice. The pepper steak was just so so and my friends and I were all agreed that the fried rice was dry and tasted like it was left over from the night before. My 2nd friend had the beef with broccoli – she ate very little and took it home with the intention of “doctoring” it up. My 3rd friend ordered the sweet and sour chicken – not only didn’t she finish it, she didn’t take her leftovers home. We won’t be going back.

I was in the area and busy with errands when I decided to have some take out. I found Great Tangs on Google and the reviews were great so I stopped and ordered a meal for me and my Niece. The service was good and the dine in portion of the restaurant was very nice. After that it’s all downhill. I ordered two General Tso chicken dinners combos complete with pork fried rice and an egg roll. I also ordered fried dumplings. Now, I understand I should have checked my order when it came out, i was in a hurry to pick up my Niece. My order wasn’t complete. No egg rolls for either dinner. The fried rice was just plain rice, I was never told otherwise. The absolute worst part, the chicken was tough, the sauce was watery and tasted terrible! Both of our meals were previously frozen and then microwaved. They both had that frozen dinner taste to it. The dumplings were very good, a tad oily though. Then after dinner I was looking at the menu, a dinner combo was $13.50 each. I was over charged for them both. $5 overcharged. For the price I paid for this meal, I could have made something at home. Don’t go here unless you want to get ripped off and have a disappointing meal.

Food is great, the staff is so polite, and the dining area is nice. Their card machine was down because the power went out so I had to walk to the price chopper next door to get cash and they gave me a gift card for the short walk! 6 stars if I could, and would recommend to anyone.

Food is great when made well. Unfortunately if you do take out, the order is often incorrect or missing an item and they do not follow through on making it right. Super frustrating. Gave three shots now we are dobe.

One of the best kept secrets in Saratoga. By far the best sushi anywhere (including down state). Located in a strip mall, completely unassuming, Great Tangs offers sushi, Chinese and Thai dishes. Everything we have ever ordered has been absolutely delicious! Friendly staff, incredibly talented sushi chef and lovely owner to boot. Cannot sing enough of its praises!
