We were travelling and staying in Alton, MO and this restaurant was the only open one in town square. I would recommend the soft grilled tacos. Good food! Our waiter was very polite. Also they let our puppy sit with us in his bag so it was very convenient for us. 10/10!

My experience at Jason’s was a good one, the food was very fresh and flavorful overall. The service was very good, the prices were reasonable and it is one of the few options open until later in Alton. I would certainly recommend this place

Ok I have given the Resturant the benefit of the doubt. This was my 3rd time. I ordered 3 meals to go, came to$49 & change left a $10.00 tip. I ordered Molecaje Te Ranchero which comes with rice ( no rice) steak and chicken in their secrete sauce with cactus and onion. The sauce was good. The steak was the tougher than cow hide, ordered camaroned AL MOJO the beans I requested was just enough to add color on the plate. Chile Verdi no complaints.

Food was cold.The Cheese enchiladas cheese was cold and not melted at all. There were three of us eating and all of our plates were cold. Flavor was ok. Service was good. We did not complain but should have. The place was clean. I hate to complain had heard it was a good place to eat so was excited to try it out. Hope they do better it’s nice for small towns to have a decent ace to eat.

Place has gone downhill recently. My husband and I ordered a take out order. I was told 20 minutes to pick up got there in 15 food was cold, my husband’s burrito was made wrong and food did not taste good. We used to really like this place. Time to move on and find another mexican restaurant.
