Honestly didn’t hear much about this restaurants until I saw it opened recently. It’s relatively upscale, but it’s not trying to do the fusion thing that higher end Indian restaurants usually go for. It mostly sticks to North Indian classics.

The appetizer was thecha paneer – which came out in an interesting flaming presentation on a stick. That was definitely unique for a paneer dish. The paneer itself was alright, but the chutney it came it was really good.

For the mains, we ordered a couple curries – the Bansari Aloo Dum Dum and Vegetable Jalfrezi, along with a biryani, and a few breads.
I liked the aloo one more. It was pretty creamy, nutty, and had a good spice mix within it. This was easy to dip the bread into. The jalfrezi was solid, but there was a lack of gravy. It ended up just being mostly sauteed vegetables.
The biryani was average – nothing special.

As far as the breads, I thought the garlic naan was good – loved that they gave us the choice whether we wanted it with butter or not. The rumali roti was too hard unfortunately.

For dessert, we got the kunafa with gajar halwa. This was a really small dish that I didn’t like very much. There was a weird dryness to it all and not enough sauce on top.

Price-wise, this was pretty expensive – coming to about $45/person. It had good presentation, and the dishes were manageably portioned – nothing excessive or too little.
I think this is a place to go to for a celebratory-type dinner (obviously I wouldn’t choose it for a such a dinner, but assuming the celebrator in question is partial to these foods). Probably not a place to go for your average takeout or normal night though.

Also, the server asked for a google review at the end of the meal and showed a QR code to scan.
Please don’t do this. Your whole deal is that you’re an upscale type restaurant. Leave the google review begging for hole-in-the-wall places.

Overall, it’s good but expensive food that can work depending on the occasion. 7.75/10

We visited this restaurant for Valentine’s Day dinner with my husband and our 2.5-year-old. We were seated at a large corner table in the very back (likely meant for bigger parties). At first I felt disappointed because there was live music for the Valentine’s special and we couldn’t see it from our table. However, I later realized it actually worked out well. We could still hear the music while avoiding the crowd and noise near the stage, and we were able to comfortably have conversations.

The food was delicious overall and really stood out. We started with Pyaar Ka Tofa (strawberry appetizer), which I was skeptical about, but it turned out to be surprisingly good and unique. The Valentine’s special stuffed paneer appetizer was excellent — they should absolutely add it to their regular menu.

For drinks, we tried the Mango Aamsutra and Spicy Chilli Guava. The mango was okay but a bit too sweet for my taste. The guava drink, however, was amazing with a strong chili kick — highly recommend.

For entrées, we ordered Lasooni Palak Burrata, Kathal Champaran, rumali roti, and naan. Everything was fantastic. The Champaran may not taste exactly like traditional Champaran style, but it was still very flavorful and enjoyable. The Lasooni Palak Burrata was out of this world — a must-order. The rumali roti was soft and fresh.

Unfortunately, dessert was the low point of the evening. The Valentine’s special chocolate cake was the worst chocolate cake we’ve had — extremely hard and difficult to even cut with a spoon. We informed our server, who offered to take it back, but we were already full and declined.

Overall, the food and ambience were wonderful and made for a lovely evening. One area for improvement: when we received the check, the server stood very close and watched while we selected the tip, which felt awkward and uncomfortable. I hope they can improve this part of the experience so guests can complete payment more privately.

Despite that, we had a great time and would return for the food and atmosphere.

Had a wonderful experience at Jashn! The ambiance is warm, elegant, and perfect for both family dinners and special occasions. The staff is extremely courteous, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout the visit.

The food was outstanding—rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every dish we tried was delicious and well-balanced, truly reflecting authentic taste and care in preparation.

Overall, Jashn offers an excellent combination of great service, inviting ambiance, and amazing food. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

I visited Jashn for the first time with my family, and it instantly exceeded every expectation. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with an upscale, clean, modern ambiance—and unlike many restaurants, there’s no lingering smell that attaches to your clothing from start to finish. It’s truly a place you can enjoy comfortably and stylishly.

Every single dish we ordered was phenomenal. You can taste the quality, freshness, and attention to detail in every bite. The service was impeccable, attentive, and genuinely warm, making the entire dining experience seamless. For the level of food and service you get, the pricing is incredibly friendly—this is easily a spot I can see myself revisiting again and again.

Their cocktails are excellent, crafted with balance and creativity, and I was impressed to see a lineup of premium top-shelf spirits you’d normally only find in high-end bars. A special highlight was their Butter Chicken—prepared differently than the traditional style. I even got a sneak peek into how they make it, and let me tell you… the result is mind-blowing. Rich, unique, and unforgettable.

From appetizers to mains, cocktails to desserts, Jashn is on a whole other level. This is, without question, the best Indian restaurant I’ve tried in the entire state of Washington. Absolutely incredible from start to finish. Highly, highly recommended.

We went there for the first time for dinner. This ambience is nice but a little more lighting would be good.
We ordered dal bhukhara (dal makhani), paneer khatta pyaaz, and malai kofta for veg main course. Out of these, paneer khatta pyaaz stood out. And we ordered chengazi Murgh and butter chicken for non veg main course. Out of these chengazi murgh was better.
Also the starter chandni chowk chaska was amazing, it is a must try here.
We also had thecha paneer, but it was okay-ish.
Non veg starters – kakori chicken and thecha chicken were also good.
For desserts, we ordered Dilli kulfi falooda and Malpua with rabri and both were good.
The spicy guava drink was amazing. It is definitely recommended.
The presentation for all the items was really nice.

Beautiful and most decorative food and drinks. Every dish was a beautifully plated and presented quickly and hot. If you added a last minute something it was immediately brought to. The staff was available without hesitation or wait. My drink was worth every penny and as tasty and well presented. A 10 out of a 10. Definitely returning.

Jero was an amazing bartender for us and an amazing host! Had a great dinner today (ordered thetcha paneer, tokri chaat, roti, malai kofta), but more than the actual food, Jero’s hospitality was phenomenal. Very kind and down to earth person. Would come back for him.

The ambience is very pleasant, and when we visited there was live Hindi music playing. The interiors are beautiful and add to the overall vibe. We started with the Thetcha Paneer, which was delicious—the paneer was really soft. For the mains, we ordered paneer lababdar, which I felt was just okay. The dhaba-style chicken, however, was quite good.

Great food and service in a wonderful location. The chicken lollipop was very flavorful and juicy. The dhaba style dishes tasted truly authentic. The galouti kabab was outstanding, and the biryani was very flavorful as well. A special highlight was the finger bowls they provided at the end, just like in India, which is something I have never seen anywhere else in the US. We also loved the decor, the brass glasses, and the overall attention to detail.

We had lunch at Jashn and honestly it was just fine experience… we weren’t blown away by the ambience or service but it was a well maintained place. We ordered the Mango lassi and Mango lemonade and both the drinks were good and fresh however were overpriced , full marks on the presentation of mango lemonade.. appetisers we ordered Makhan paneer tikka and the first draft of the order came absolutely bland and when we reported it the chef was kind enough to remake it with right amount of spices. The Veg biryani was flavourful and tasty.. overall it’s fine for once in a while dining experience as it’s over priced
