Jardin is absolutely amazing! Definitely a hidden gem in Madison. My husband is vegan (I am not quite there yet). But, this place is great for those who are 100% vegan and for those who are just foodies like myself.

Kitchen was short staffed and our server was also one of the Chefs! Good food is worth waiting for! Presentation & food was sensational. Even got my meat loving father to enjoy a plant based meal! Much gratitude.

We came to Jardin for a family celebration, and it was delicious and relaxing! My kids are both vegetarians, so it was incredible to have so many varied options on the menu. We got the patatas, salade de saison, chickpea curry and blackened tofu. All were excellent and so flavorful. We were discussing today and couldn’t decide which was our favorite! We ate in the courtyard, and the greenery and rock wall made it so lovely. We highly recommend Jardin!

It’s so nice to see an upscale plant based restaurant! My husband and I wanted to have a date night that was a little more fancy than the normal cafe style vegan places. Because of MANY recommendations we choose to try out Jardin. We will definitely be coming back. The food was soooo good. The service was amazing. We tried a few items based on the co-owners recommendation and he was absolutely right! Get the Lobster Casarecce. The Lions Mane mushrooms were everything! Thanks for the great experience!

Gorgeous atmosphere / unbelievably delicious cocktails and unique dishes *must try the blueberry vinaigrette fiddleheads flatbread – also loved the “lobster” mushroom pasta + blackened tofu entrees*

This is a beautiful restaurant tucked away. Inside or outside, you can’t go wrong. The staff was super kind and the food was incredible. We shared patatas (a must) and focaccia. My main was the Lobster Casarecce and it was fabulous. Creamy, unctuous, and flavorful. The mushrooms provided the “lobster” texture and a burst of flavor, the sauce was balanced and savory, and the noodles were fresh and thick to soak up the sauce.

I’m going to think about the meal we had at Jardin at Robinia Courtyard on Saturday for the rest of my life. I can’t think of a time when I had a meal that I would rank above this one. This place is THAT special. Now under the direction of executive chef Juan Umana -not Kyle Cozine as Googled, thank you! – (who I believe was in part responsible for one of our favorite food trucks that I stalked throughout the early summer this year), Jardin features a globally-inspired, 100% plant-based menu. I strongly recommend the chickpea paneer, which has a silky, sexy curry interior and a crispy fried exterior. It is sensational. A patient of mine recommended the blue potatoes, and they were great as well. (I lost most of those to my husband.) The quesabirria is clothed in a sumptuous mole sauce and avocado crema, and inside is smoky jackfruit and grilled portobello. I thought I died and gone to Mediterranean heaven with the grilled eggplant, until the spiked sorbet and affogato came, and I realized there were more levels to ascend. I had one of my favorite gluten-free beers (New Grist), then an incredibly cold (note: the slush on the edges) and PERFECT martini, and a complimentary Amaro Lucano aperitif at the finish. Service was wonderful… Very friendly and attentive, the meal was well timed, and we never had to ask for a plate to be cleared for for another cocktail. And even with all of that, I’ve had meals that cost twice as much. All vegan and gluten-free. I mean. That affogato though! We had the most beautiful alfresco meal here, and I think this place is world class and worth driving for (and even putting on makeup). I can’t wait to go back.

Im not one to ever write reviews. But being a server, as well as a bartender and in the industry for 14 years I was very displeased. We waited longer than appreciated to be seated. We were told that there was no places to be seated outside but people after us got seated outside? Very interesting. They also seemed very mad that we didn’t have a reservation. We were getting looks and took their time coming to us.

Amazing vegetarian dishes, great service and wonderful atmosphere. We dined with our daughter entering into UW Madison and loved both dishes we ordered as well as the appetizers. We’ll be coming again next visit for sure! Very relaxing place with chill music. Perfect for family dinner or date night.
