My family loves hibachi, and honestly, hibachi should not be very hard to get right. Unfortunately, this experience missed the mark by a wide margin.
Hibachi is supposed to be cooked fresh on a hot grill, with flavor built in real time. What we received instead tasted like everything had already been cooked long before, then scooped into a container when it was time for pickup. Oh wait, that’s because I sit and watch them scoop everything out of a pre-cooked container at pickup . Pre-cooked meat, rice, and vegetables does not equal hibachi. It equals leftovers.
Yes, the service was fast. I will give credit there. But speed does not make up for food that was extremely dry and nearly flavorless. There was no real sauce presence, no grill flavor, and nothing that resembled the fresh, sizzling experience people expect when they order hibachi.
What makes this frustrating is how easy the fix would be. Toss it back on the grill, add some sauce, heat it properly, and freshen it up before serving. That alone would likely take this to a completely different level.
As it stands, this was disappointing and not something I would order again unless the preparation changes.

My boyfriend and I ordered pickup from this restaurant off of Doordash. We sat in the parking lot waiting for it to show ‘done’ for nearly 10 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. I guess they assumed we would walk in at the time regardless? They could not get the order name right despite there only being 2 bags and 2 very different names.
The food itself was very disappointing. The chicken was rubbery, the steak was tough, and the rice didn’t have much flavor. For some reason the white sauce was given to us in bags and my crab rangoon was…well look at it. I thought we were given egg rolls by mistake but no, that is a glorified cream cheese burrito.
I will admit that this experience was very funny, but neither of us feel well at this time. Order at your own risk and if you do order, Godspeed.

I am a diabetic so rice is a no no for me. I ordered a hibachi chicken with no rice and add extra vegetables. I also told them I would pay extra if I have to. They gave me a dish that was 80% onions and they were old and slimy. When I complained the owner looked under the shelf to see who I was and then gave me 5 pieces of broccoli to compensate my complaint. I felt like he was judging me based off of how I looked

I should have looked at reviews before ordering. The service was fine. Everyone working the front seemed to be in their late teens. No complaints. Young man answered the questions I had about the food. The food was absolutely not worth returning for another visit. I ordered one hibachi steak and one hibachi chicken and shrimp. This was the driest steak I have EVER had. You can see in the picture how dry it is. Without sauce it would have been inedible. The shrimp did not taste fresh and I could not eat more than a few bites of it. The rice was fine; the only decent things in the plates. Portions are small. I usually don’t eat an entire hibachi plate at once. The plates look bulky only because there is a thick later of onions and zucchini under the protein. This is among the worst hibachi spots in the area.

Called in due to the current pandemic for pick-up for hibachi streak, chicken and shrimp, shrimp tempura, and fried beef dumplings. Employee was very quick and to the point on the phone and said 15-20 minute wait.
A bit slow at the window to grab the food since the cashier is also answering the phone and taking orders. Stopped ringing me out to answer phone and work with someone bringing food up from the back whom did not have a face mask on. Kitchen staff did have a face mask on though.
The 5 Fried dumplings were tasty and hot.
The 3 shrimp tempura came with a deep-fried onion rings, zucchini spice, and piece of broccoli. The shrimp was exactly what you would expect though heavily breaded.
As for the streak, shrimp, and chicken hibachi;
– Chicken was a bit on the cool side, and very plain
– Steak had a decent bit of fat and gristle on the pieces and the portion was a bit skimp
– The shrimp… was shrimp, and was fine
– A hefty serving of rice
– The veggies were a bit meh in the entree as well.
For the price I’m thinking I’ll pass in the future.

Service was good. Place was pretty much empty so I was able to walk right up to the front and ordered but I knew something was up when I placed my order for hibachi shrimp & steak and it was ready in 2min. Steak is over cooked and chewy, barely any veggies mostly onions, shrimp tasted like they thawed it out and put it on the plate. Absolutely no seasoning. Way better hibachi elsewhere with the same price point and larger portions. It’s located in a plaza with plenty of other options and the main street it’s on has plenty of restaurants. I love hibachi but this will be my first and last time here.

Little hole in the wall can’t even lie. Teriyaki and hibachi chicken is amazing. I just tried the chicken udon and it’s top tier. Nice thick and chewy noodles 5 stars. Forgot to ask for no zucchini though .

We ordered the Hibachi Steak and it was not given any flavor at all. It was dry. You could tell the veggies were steamed and not grilled. Threw away our mealsm not edible.

Food it’s okay might need more seasoning, even though most of the food is just rice. Service not so well, the girl in the cashier always has an attitude, she never greets people. She straight just ask what you want with this sour face she don’t even smile or anything.
