Jan’s Place is a lovely little diner just of the main road in Alexandria, relatively unassuming and tucked away, easy to miss but impossible to forget once you have found it.

Loved it! A really nice small town hole in the wall breakfast place with amazing food and service. Jan was helping us and she was awesome. The pancakes were huge and delicious. The price and portion were amazing. Make sure to check out the random signage around the place, they are hilarious and a lot of fun to read. Glad we stopped by and would definitely go back the next time we’re in town.

Searched for a place that was open for breakfast and this came up. Was VERY pleasantly surprised! Very homey, very good food. Good sized portions and served well! Definitely would recommend it for breakfast.

I went here for Father’s Day. Their food tastes great and the customer service was also good. They were a little slow in getting the food out to us but I can understand they were busy since all of the tables had been completely filled. It looks like it’s a family owned restaurant. We didn’t have to wear a mask or social distance when we ate here. They also have a parking lot. One area for improvement would be to put bar stools at the bar so that more people can sit down to eat.

Went here on a Sunday and the place was absolutely PACKED. No parking was available and the service was slow. The food was fine, but it took forever to arrive. I just was not impressed.
