It’s a great spot right in my backyard! The food is really good, though some options are a bit pricey. It’s a wide space, they have a stage where they have live music. The DJ was playing the music extremely loud this time around. It was quite unpleasant at 3p on a Sunday afternoon.

Me and my BFF swung by on a Friday night. We arrived around 11:30p. There was a handful of people there. I don’t mind a light crowd as long as the music is good.. the 2nd Dj was Dope No unnecessary talking, just hit after hit. He played some goodies and oldies. Great mix of Reggae, Soca, Afro-Beat and Hip-hop. I didn’t order food. It was too pricey. They also have a dope backdrop and swing for photos. Very nice ambiance. I will definitely go back!

The fry chicken n soup was good. The rice amd peas wasn’t. And I had to pay 1.00 for gravy, which was weird. Sir, why are you charging people for gravy when I bought fry chicken. How yuh expect mi fi eat the dry rice. Oh, and the Bob marley had no alcohol in it. We told the bartender and she said it’s a creeper.. all now nothing cyah creep up pon mi. We drove 30 minutes to get here and was very disappointed. The place is beautiful tho.

Our server Shad was great at her job. Very nice. The hookah was smooth. The drinks were strong (good). The oxtails were tasty. The live band was amazing. The venue is nice and clean. I’m going to come back for my birthday.

Nice Caribbean spot on the southside. If you love reggae like me definitely check them out. I love the Djs mix. Great drinks and friendly waitress.

My experience at Jamrock South has been a good one so far. I have personally watched this business grow. I recently had their curry chicken meal and it was delicious. They have a live band, great hosts, nice waitresses, karaoke nights, & protection to keep all guests safe in the area. The parking spaces are wide enough to have a few guests per attendance. It is a brand new facility that was renovated. It has a modern laid back lounge vibe. I recommend their curry chicken meal. They have artists & karaoke nights for anyone who enjoys singing or rapping. I performed & a artist friend has performed at Jamrock. It’s a nice place & the lady’s bathrooms were clean when I attended.

This place was terrible. The food was not good at all. It tasted like frozen food that they tried to spruce up. Drinks were not strong. Customer service was non-existent. Why have a 18% automatic gratuity charge when there’s no service? No one checked on us the entire time. We actually had to go look for the waiter in order to pay. With this being their anniversary party I expected a lot more. The performances are the only reason we stayed. I will not be returning.

I’ve been waiting to visit this place but was disappointed with a few things. Upon entering it’s a beautiful entrance but you pay to sit at the tables on the right hand side where they have the majority of the wooden tables and chairs. We ordered a lemon drop and a purple rain and I must say those were the worst drinks I’ve had in a long time , the purple rain tasted like bad koolaid and the lemon drop tasted acidic with no alcohol. The menu is pricey so we expected good food and service but was a little disappointed in that area also. The snapper was hearty with a good presentation but was on the wrong plate for escovitch, the juice slid all over my husband’s pants when brought to the table and the poor server was trying his best to please everyone but he seem overwhelmed with orders from the surrounding tables. And also the seats are very hard compared to the other establishments in the area. The Dj was great and so was the live band but for 18% additional gratuity, high prices, and the terrible drinks it was not a good trip. For the record I’ve written many reviews and only put my honest opinion, and money is no object when we go out to enjoy ourselves, just want good drinks, food, and service.

We decided to visit this place on their 1 year anniversary, Service was not up to par,20-30 for a drink that tasted like kool-aid,40 – 60 minutes for your food ,Keep in mind it wasn’t crowded,We support all business coming from Florida. As an owner or manager, businesses first, walk around, talk with your customers, and get feedback on what when and how you can improve this location. We would rather take the 45-minute ride to downtown Atlanta for better service and drinks.
