Food is excellent. Service/ customer service is terrible. They are not receptive to feedback. If you want to waste half a day for the possibility of getting food you ordered 4 hours ago to maybe have it sold to someone else go ahead and help yourself. Owner also plays favorites. I suggest you go downtown to Ermas in Salt City Market.

I’ve eaten at lick finger a few times, at I have to say, I’m not too impressed with them, but they do serve good Jamaican food. They open at 2:00 daily and only stay open for 3 hours most of the time (2:00 to 6:00 on Friday). The place is small, and it’s easy to get caught outside when a line is formed. It’s easier to call in and place an order rather than place an order when you get there because you might miss out on certain things (like I did when they were serving Mac and cheese and didn’t give me any ). What I don’t like about this place is that they serve the same thing daily and don’t serve everything everyday. My advice, stick with the chicken entries.

Been a loyal customer for yrs since W. Onondaga St. Changed my rating because every time I come to the new Green Hills Plaza location he’s never open at the hrs of business posted. (Experienced this on many occasions) Comes in when he wants. Today put the icing on the cake. Came at 12:30 (hrs posted) called in my order he said come back @ 1:30, cool. He wasn’t even ready when I returned. Told me 2:30, I canceled my order. He makes limited food and you have to call ahead to be guaranteed a meal. Even then you never know. Good food but the cook is very inpatient, rude and unprofessional. I’ve learned this overtime. If your gonna have a business be open when you say you would. And don’t be Cocky about ya food when ya business hrs are 12:30-4pm on Saturday and you are ready to serve @ 2:30pm.. that’s not a good look.

Even though they tend to run out of food, that’s not a bad thing. The food is just that good. I wish they took cards, but nevertheless it was worth the ride to narrow for the authentic Jamaican food. Customer service was very good compared to other restaurants around.
