I get here and I’m not greeted I’m told “you got to get out we’re closed” and for a place to close at 7:00 Pm? That’s no way to make money at all. I never tried Jamaican food before so I decided to try it out today(I got the chicken curry ) and I’m glad that I did. It’s a great Bursting of flavors you get , and I love the smell of the food. I love the rice and beans. The chicken was flavorful and full of spice. The cabbage was a great addition to the plate. The inside of the place seems new but overall great experience if you’re looking for something new instead of fast food.

They never answer the phone. Even when the workers say that they accept orders by phone, I find this to be impossible. I once called them 6 times repeatedly and still no answer. The next day I called again – no answer. In terms of service, they could do a better job at ensuring the food doesn’t take 40 minutes to make. I waited over 40 minutes and missed the entire second half of an NFL game. It wasn’t even a big order. Only one order of Jerk Chicken. The workers will keep telling you “don’t go anywhere, your order is almost ready”, then 25 more minutes will pass by. Great food, amazing food. But the service and hours of operation are trash. They almost make it impossible to order from them.

I’m disappointed to be writing this, the food was good even though I noticed that the curry for the curry goat was more so like gravy. The customer service was all right. But the main reason for the low score is that I got food poisoning from eating here. Which means there’s some type of cross contamination or lack of cleanliness. So be mindful of eating here. The food was good, but at what cost, I’ve been suffering for days.

The food was phenomenal, and the restaurant itself is spotless — seriously one of the cleanest places I’ve been to. The owner was very welcoming and made the experience even better. Prices are great, portions are generous, and I’m already looking forward to coming back to try the oxtail next. Highly recommend!

Warning this is lengthy. First time here & will definitely be back. We ordered large Oxtail w Rice & Peas and Small Curry Chicken w Rice and Peas with a side of Ripe Plantain. The meal comes w cabbage which is seasoned & cooked to perfection. She took her time getting the order down and it was worth the wait. The portions were large & the food was delicious. We overheard her telling another Customer their Coco bread would be ready shortly because they do not put them out front with beef patties or they would dry out. It was worth the wait ( they were busy) for her to put our dishes together.

My mother is a travel nurse who is new in town, after a long shift she drove over 40 mins to purchase some food from this restaurant today. The owner was very abrasive, and lacks basic customer service skills. My mother was treated very poorly before even having an opportunity to finish placing an order and left as a result. My mom came to support their business and was treated like trash instead. Thats totally unacceptable.

I ordered beef patties, the oxtail and jerk chicken meal. Everything was served hot and the food was very delicious! Very friendly staff! I will return to try some of their seafood selections. Thank you!
