Don’t waste your time or money. Raspy voiced female bartender demands tips, and is obnoxiously rude. She needs to be kicked to the curb.

Great service! Like, really great! Had one end of the bar full of what appeared to be regular patrons. (Regulars). The bartender made us feel like one of them. She encouraged us to come back!! We will, beings we live “just down the hill”

It’s not a bad watering hole. It has all the vibes of a dive bar, but I don’t have to sanitize myself after and the toilets are clean. I’ll come here again for sure. It’s not a place for craft beers on tap, but they have a fridge full of craft bottles. Cool joint

The people who run this place are really nice and work hard and the prices are unbeatable when it comes to the bar scene. My main issue is with the people who come to this bar. Some of the people are really trashy and try to pick fights and stir up trouble, it’s been a problem the last 3 times I went. It’s to the point that despite the good prices and employees that I just don’t come here anymore because it isn’t worth the trouble. Shame.

Buckle up buttercups, because I’m about to let you in on Gladstone’s best-kept secret, a place that redefines “dive bar chic”: My Other Place. Now, let’s be honest, if you’re expecting gleaming chrome and artisanal cocktails served by suspender-clad mixologists, you can stop reading now. My Other Place is more like that comfy, slightly stained recliner your grandpa refuses to get rid of – it’s not pretty, but man, is it good for the soul.

But let’s get down to brass tacks, the real reason My Other Place holds a cherished spot in our hearts: the trifecta of cheap beer, fantastic company, and real, human bartenders who are always up for a laugh and have a knack for pouring a perfect pint. And I gotta give a special shoutout to Stanton and Nikki. Stanton makes you at home from the moment you walk in, and Nikki could charm the socks off a grumpy grizzly. They remember your name, your usual, and probably that embarrassing story you drunkenly confessed last Tuesday.

Beyond the stellar service, My Other Place offers the essentials for a top-tier evening of questionable decision-making. We’re talking scratchers for those moments when you’re feeling lucky (spoiler alert: you’re probably not), and a culinary experience that peaks with a surprisingly satisfying hotdog or a bag of your favorite salty crisps. And let’s not forget the electronic jukebox, allowing for a seamless transition from a heartfelt country ballad to a head-banging metal anthem, much to the amusement (or annoyance) of your fellow patrons.

So, if you’re looking for a pretentious, overpriced cocktail lounge, keep moving. But if you crave genuine company, ridiculously affordable beer, and bartenders who make you feel like family, then visit My Other Place, which will never apologize for being itself and won’t ask you to, either.

It’s a dive bar, but in the best way. Mostly locals or regulars, buy everyone was friendly. Staff was incredibly friendly, and drinks were perfectly made
My friend ordered a small personal pizza to share, and everyone who tried it, loved it. The pizza didn’t look like my style.

Talk about an amazing place! Amazing wings! Amazing Pizza! & the service! If she tells you she’s alone don’t worry she is more then capable of handling the entire place her self!! I wish we living in town so we could make that our wing & pizza stop!! Couldn’t of loved the service and food anymore!

It was acceptable. Nothing was bad, but nothing extraordinary either. I went with my family and the place is greater to be more of a dive bar than restaurant. My wife was a bit uncomfortable with the crowd. They had a pool table, a large bar, a few TVs, and a few tables. Decent beer specials, and the beer was very cold. Pretty sure the cheese dip and salsa was jarred with a steep markup. The pizza was nothing to write home about.

Nikki was amazing, we even got to see a picture of her pups! Talk about being treated like family for our first visit to this bar ever. If you like Dives and or little hole in the walls this is a great place to swing into for inexpensive drinks and a good time

We’ve been there several times and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The last 3 times the quality of the food wasn’t as great but worse than that the bathrooms were filthy. Extremely nasty floors and walls with mouse droppings. The toilet bowl brush was sitting in brown nasty dirty water in the womens. Extremely disappointed. It’s a close friendly place for us. Also took a look in the kitchen and it wasn’t much better. Unfortunately we probably won’t be back because of this.
