A Colonial treasure passing through the generations of good eats! Their signature, menudo has become a staple here. Proudly so, empty pots routinely enter through their front door existing with a slow cooked deliciousness of corn homonym and beef tripe. Topped and plated with fresh onion, cilantro , lime and homemade fresh bread. There is nothing fancy here but the flavors are historically calibrated with stove top tradition. Be patient with the table service, it’s worth the wait. Outstanding cheap good eats!

This place is like in a older part of El Paso with lots of history & rich In heritage..we just had the menudo so I really can’t comment on anything else..the menudo was like a 6 out of 10 & they use Juanita’s Mexican style pozole ..which is fine but my personal fav is Bush’s Hominy..it’s kind of small but we were able to get a seat pretty fast..but tbh I probably won’t be back ..

I had menudo here back in 2016 on a visit. It was some of the best I’ve had. The atmosphere was great and it was full of happy customers. The music on Saturday morning was such a treat also. They’re so nice and genuine, the allowed me to retrieve my notebook that I forgot way after hours. So very grateful and I SHALL return!

This is a CASH ONLY! If on a budget and want good delicious food, this restaurant is a must. They have all kinds of Mexican dishes. The Restraunt is clean and feels like home. If you forget to pull cash, don’t worry about it they have an ATM on site. The menudo was great, and the Agua de Mango was so good. The people are also so nice.
