Oldschool establishment that feels like a dying breed these days. Gently retro, cute garden out back they’ll bring your food out to if you wish. Nothing fancy, but definitely satisfying and served with a smile by the friendly staff. Very reasonable prices – you can get lunch with a drink for under $10, which is almost unheard of in this economy

My first time at Castle Harbor, it offers you a classic NJ diner food experience. The crowd consisted of patrons that have been customers for decades to a new generation of grandfather’s bringing their grandchildren in.
The menu is large, offering breakfast platters, breakfast sandwiches, omlettes, lunch sandwiches, burgers, salads, soups, and so much more. Something they seem to be known for as well are their ice cream and desserts. That’ll be something I’m going to make sure to try in the spring/summer time!
To warm up the bones and fill my big ol’ belly, I went with some cream chipped beef over rye toast with home fries. It’s just a simple, yet well executed delicious breakfast meal that hit the spot just right. They close for a Christmas break on 12/22 and don’t reopen until February of 2025. I recommend paying a visit in the next few days or when they reopen in 02/25.

I worked here throughout high school and into my adult years, and this place is just as great as a customer as it was as an employee. My son still works here. A very welcoming family friendly place where everybody knows your name and greets you with a smile. The food is always prepared on site and served fresh, and the ice cream selections are the best around. Best gyros ever!

I took my son & niece there today. I’ve always passed it and have been wanting to go there for so long. I’m glad we had the chance to stop in today. It was such a friendly atmosphere. Alyssa gave great customer service and was so friendly. She assisted in taking our order. She was knowledgeable and helped us in ordering our desserts. We got gelati’s and my niece got strawberry soft serve in a cone. They were so delicious that we couldn’t even finish them, so they gave us to- go lids. Will definitely be back to try the diner and drive in style food they serve!!!

Honestly this place earned the fifth star simply for being open past 8p and not having a ridiculously long line. I got a small salted caramel pretzel cone. Don’t be fooled. The size called small is HUGE. I could have very easily shared it with another person and not felt like I was sharing. I went with two others and we all got something similar and our total came out to about fifteen bucks. And the ice cream itself was pretty delicious also

Full disclosure…I’ve never eaten in the restaurant. I only get ice cream! The counter people are so nice, especially when you’re having trouble deciding what to order (like me). The soft serve is delicious, but they also have hand dipped ice cream and water ice. Try a flavor booster! I like the outdoor seating area in the back so I can commune with nature while I’m eating my frozen treats!

Went for lunch with my grandson and had a wonderful meal. My server Lisa was wonderful and very friendly. Food is reasonably priced and very comfortable atmosphere. Would definitely take a friend or family member there. Especially for the ice cream
