Out of town visiting and my host brought me here. I loved the atmosphere and the service was good. We got our food and drinks within 15 minutes of sitting down, which was very good considering how crowded it was. I got the Chili Verde plate and it was hot and delicious. I’ll definitely come back.

This meal(Arroz Texano) is definitely not worth the $17 that was spent. Barely any meat or rice. Chicken looked white and what chicken to be exact, 3-4 shrimp, thin very thin piece’s of steak and overcooked vegetables. I ordered this meal with the queso on the side bc I wanted to see the meal by itself. And I’m glad I did bc the queso did not taste fresh. I used my queso from Sam’s club. And the chips were not fresh either. I will not be going back.

This was the first sit down restaurant we tried after moving to the area and it did not disappoint. The service was quick and attentive, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxed and family friendly. Definitely a great first experience for us.

The food here was hot, tasty, and prices were reasonable. They have a great little patio to sit at. Salsa and chips are complimentary and have great flavor. Only thing is that it can get loud if it is busy. Always a good experience here.

The food quality is top notch. Everything is fresh and full of flavor. From the fresh chips at the start to the delicious burrito, it was an enjoyable experience.

The service is also very good. Went when it was super busy and they did an excellent job. While waiting to be seated, asked for a cup of hot water for my girlfriend. They were happy and quick to serve.

The only slight knock on this place is the atmosphere. While it’s decorated extremely nicely, it’s just one big open cube. So it’s very loud.

Overall a great experience though.

Nice clean restaurant, bathrooms were clean and fresh smelling. Romero provided excellent service. Actually the best service we have had in a while. I got the Gringa and it was fabulous. Their salsa actually has flavor. Do NOT forget to try the chimi cheesecake, it is out of this world.

Restaurant was fine, clean, and friendly. Menu was typical in a good way.

Then the food arrived.

I ordered chicken and beef tacos, a good benchmark for any Mexican restaurant and my favorite. I love covering them in Chalula.

I asked for hot sauce, and was given a small cup of nasty, very spicy salsa. Whatever, I’ll just have to eat my tacos the way they came.

The chicken was fine, but lacking in flavor that any normal hot sauce would save.

The beef tacos were abhorrent, sub-taco bell quality. I’d describe the flavor as boiling meat water.

There are plenty of tastier Mexican options in Rincon. I regret giving this place a try.

***I’m taking away one star. I was being too kind. I had to go home and brush my teeth; the taste their dog food beef left in my mouth is making me feel sick.

Not my cup of tea. As someone who is married to a Mexican who immigrated to the US less than 2 years ago, and visits Mexico multiple times almost every year for the past 4 years, I can say this is not authentic Mexican food. You’ll know when it’s closer to real Mexicam food when you see more Mexican’s eating there than Gringos. Was the food good? It was ok. It wasn’t bad. Service was good. Bathrooms were clean. Only went once.
