The tortilla soup was great! As were the tacos. Nice presentation and the atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. Prices were reasonable too. I’ll be back here next time in town. I could’ve sat here all day the vibe was that good.

No salsa for sale. Just Pico. The food was flavorful. The corn Tortillas were not cooked. The flavor was good though! Portions are small when compared to the competition for the price point. The building is run down and dirty.

If I could provide an example of a hole-in-the-wall spot, THIS would be it! We came around 7:30-8:00 pm on a Tuesday night, so it was already dark. For whatever reason Apple Maps directed us across the street, but it was easy enough to find.
Pretty run down place, but most holes-in-the-walls are (which is why I rated 4 stars for the atmosphere).
But overall the food was hot, fresh and delicious. From the tamarind juice and freshly fried tortilla chips and guac, to the tacos and fajitas, everything was yummy and very much enjoyed.
My husband, an avid taco spot finder, said “you know it’s going to be good when they serve TOP NOTCH Agua de Tamarindo”!
I even enjoyed the salsa music playing in the background over the speakers.
And it was only 12 minutes from our hotel. Winner!

The atmosphere of the restaurant was quaint and adorable! We got a lot of food for a great price. We ordered shrimp tacos, a chicken burrito & a beef burrito. Everything was full of flavor and absolutely delicious with great homemade sauces! So happy we stumbled upon this restaurant!!!!

Decided to have my birthday lunch here, and I wasn’t disappointed (though I did leave for too full). The rice and tamale were fluffy and flavorful, all of the meat was tender and juicy, and the guac tasted really fresh. The service was great too. I hope everyone at this restaurant stays safe, and sticks around for many more years.
