This was my first visit and it definitely won’t be my last. I’ll be bringing my family with me next time. There are several BBQ places in the area and Hinie’s is the best by a comfortable margin. I was going through Lawrenceburg on my bike last Friday and Amber waited on me and she was excellent. She brought me several sauces and also their “Hot Hinie’s” sauce which is a bit hotter and is actually my favorite after tasting all the others. There wasn’t a bit of fat in any of their pulled pork and the baked beans were excellent. Their flat fries are like steak fries that are half as thick which makes them fry up perfectly. I can’t wait to go back. You will not be disappointed even if you had to drive 35 miles like I did on my bike.

Did a pick up with only minimal time on lunch break on a Saturday. Very shabby looking salad for $14. Obviously forgot tomatoes, croutons, dressing, sauce for the sandwich with other order and forgot baked beans as well. Should’ve checked before leaving the restaurant so that’s partly my fault. Got back to work and we opened our food and this is what I found. Don’t know what the extra 2 black surprises were in it but I know what it looks like. Not able to even eat it now. Very disappointed! Come on guys! Everything was on the receipt that was paid just not in the bag.

Experience was cool. I ordered to go. I was however disappointed with the size of the chicken breast that came with the grilled chicken platter. Spent $32 for cheese bread and the chicken breast platter. Didn’t feel like I quite got the bang for my buck.

Was waited on by Jesse D. She was very attentive never let glasses get low on drink and service was friendly and prompt. Came with my wife I ordered the brisket she had the pulled pork and we got milkshakes to go. Pulled pork #1 in the area and surrounding areas. Brisket #2 but you gotta go about 50 minutes out to beat it. Baked beans were great as well some of the best you can get if not the best. I enjoyed trying the sauces the brisket mop and the smokey hinies sauce were the best in my opinion. Also the shakes were top notch. Overall great experience great place.

We had the pulled pork plate and teriyaki chicken. The food was great it was fun watching the kitchen cook and work , Ray the server didn’t match the restaurant quality, she told my wife that I.wasn’t going to pay the bill. Why would I even think about that in this 1st class operation. Just make sure they know you paid the bill if you eat here. If we had time I would try the pizzas also.

Some friends and I driving through Tennessee stopped here for lunch and it did not disappoint. First, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the owner Tripp stopped by to ask us how our meal was and talked to us for a while. Well the food was fantastic and I thought the ribs were better than Central BBQ in Memphis (where we ate the day before). The pulled pork and brisket were also excellent, especially with the brisket mop sauce.

Such an amazing time trying Hinie’s for the 1st time tonight with family! Haven rocked it as our server – he was super busy with multiple tables and we still had amazing service. Food was AMAZING…we had the sampler so a bit of everything. And the peanut butter milkshake oh my goodness what a treat! My mom and I enjoyed a Circus Freak drink and a Carousel Cooler – both so yummy! The edible glitter in Circus Freak was such a fun touch! We had pulled chicken, brisket, ribs, slaw, beans, pretzel bites, fried pickles…so much yummy food we shared amongst our group! Highly recommend!

This was the second time we visited Hinies’s. The food was delicious this time. We both had brisket and got to sample some sauces. Waitress was friendly and the managers (maybe owner) stopped by and made sure we had everything we needed!
