I swung into Jake’s on my way back from SF on Sunday. The place is kinda tucked away and you may actually pass it. I found myself parked on the backside but no worries there’s a back entrance. Once inside i was greeted with a typical neighbor pizza joint which is highly excepted in my mind. Getting beer and my pizza order in was easy. And while I could complain about how long it took to get my order. I won’t because it gave me time to enjoy my drink. The pizza was very good even if it seems like the crust wasn’t made on site. I can picture parking filling up on a busy night. Very family friendly even has video games to entertain.

It reminds me of the old Boardwalk in Mountain View, which I really loved. The food is great, and the staff is super friendly – except for the manager, who could be more welcoming. Still, I really like the place and definitely recommend it!

Stopped by for a quick bite.
I ordered a Jake’s Combo and I asked for extra crispy. Javier asked if I wanted a thick or thin crust. I opted for a thin crust. I loved the thin crispy crust. One drawback is that you have to eat it fast as it gets soggy sitting on the pizza pan.
I never knew you could order a thin crust at Jake’s. I always went to Jake’s of Saratoga.

My wife went to Jake’s to order a Gilroy pizza to go. Instead of the white sauce, we had the red sauce and I have to say that the pizza was really very good and filling. Their sandwiches are also very good too. For parking, besides the front, you can park in the back and enter through the back door.

I have not eaten there for a long time but I remember the food always being fantastic especially the pizza. I stopped in to have a beer with some friends and it’s still the same as it always has been

Nice place. Accommodating regarding my request to swap out some of the veggies on the pizza. If you like pizza that is very doughy then go here- otherwise…
Not the cheapest pizza either- slightly over $40 for a large pizza.

Pizza had crust that was like very thick saltine cracker. Toppings were good, but crust was inedible. Boneless wings with BBQ sauce were very good.
I had gone to another Jake’s about a year ago and was looking forward to this one reopening. So sorry the pizza was yucky.

I hadn’t been there in probably 10 years. It was good to see familiar faces still working there! Everything tasted as I remember-delish! Will be back more often. Sorry we forgot about you!

Amazing individual pizza. Crispy thicker crust with great melted cheese. Anchovies are good as well as the Italian sausage. Small bar with good drafts. Menu is extensive and good comfort food. Very down to earth atmosphere. Small arcade in the back.
