My friends and I came here for dinner and we loved it! So much tasty food. Word of advice: if you ever do come with 3+ people in your group, order a lot of dishes and share them!
One thing that I wish I could have changed would have been the spice level. Maybe I should warned told the waiters, but I felt like the food wasn’t spicy enough. Either way it was still very savory.
Regarding desserts I’d suggest ordering the carrot halwa. Sooooo underrated!

Authentic Indian food in Rome!
Had a great experience at Jaipur. The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious with authentic Indian flavors. We were greeted with complimentary papadams and a glass of chilled Prosecco, which was a nice touch.
We ordered the Murg Mussallam and Dal Makhni—both were excellent.
The prices are very very reasonable and i haven’t seen such prices across EU.
Highly recommended. A must-visit if you’re craving Indian food in Rome!

Much as I love pasta and pizza, coming to the end of our 2 week stay in Rome our little group were ready for something different. We all like Indian food and on a friend’s recommendation we booked a table at Jaipur. It didn’t disappoint, welcomed by friendly staff and a glass of prosecco we chose from a varied menu with very reasonable prices. The onion bhajis and pakoras for our starter were delicious, we chose different main dishes, all with varying levels of heat, I had the vindaloo….perfectly spiced. The rice and naan accompaniments were excellent. Our very knowledgeable server recommended the King Cobra beer, which served chilled was refreshing and paired well with the curries. Service was brisk and all our food came to the table promptly. It was a very enjoyable experience and Jaipur is now on our list of restaurants to return to when in Rome.

Everything about this place is perfect. Food 10/10, service 10/10 (a bit understaffed but they were all so polite, friendly, and helpful), vibe and location 10/10.
The waiter, Sahil, was very knowledgeable and told me alot of things I didn’t know before.
Tikka Masala was out of this world. First time trying Mukhas (mouth freshner) too!

One of the great reassurances when eating at Jaipur is spotting Indian diners at neighbouring tables, a quiet endorsement that speaks louder than any review ever could. The aromas alone, a heady mix of cumin, cardamom, and coriander, are enough to make one momentarily forget that the Eternal City exists beyond the restaurant walls. My wife, meanwhile, is already planning her order, because the mango lassi here has earned a level of devotion most people only grant to childhood pets and favourite jumpers.
The servers are a delight. Attentive without being intrusive, they greet you with cheerful banter and a genuine eagerness to educate. When it comes time to order, the team not only guides you through the menu with care and enthusiasm, but also gently recommends perhaps adding vegetables to accompany the generous servings of meat, which to be honest is always sincerely appreciated.
The food itself rarely disappoints. The butter chicken is indulgent and comforting, the mango chicken a sweeter and equally satisfying companion, and both arrive rich, fragrant, and unapologetically generous. Naan emerges hot from the tandoor, and the prices are always reasonable to the point where you will inevitably want to order one more dish, will never quite finish everything, and will end up being politely reprimanded for leaving a little behind. It is the sort of gentle admonishment that only makes the meal feel even more like home.
All in all, Jaipur is a rare gem in Trastevere, authentic, welcoming, and generous. And if the wait staff suggest adding a side of vegetables, take their advice seriously. Even in Rome, a man without his greens is a man destined to be mildly admonished by strangers with better culinary instincts.

The food is the best in Italy, the price was very reasonable.
The service was impeccable, and the waiters were the most polite and friendly.
We arrived just at opening time, as we didn’t check the time it opened, but they welcomed us in.
It didn’t take long before the place started to fill up, so recommend reservation.

It was the best decision ever. The food is really amazing and the service is quick. The servers are really engaging and friendly.
Before your order they serve you Prosecco, papadams and some chutney all included in their cover charge.

We had a wonderful dinner there tonight. The service was warm and welcoming. And the food was excellent from beginning to end. We are regular visitors to Indian restaurants in the United States, and cook it at home as well on occasion. Tonight’s meal was some of the best we have every had. The flavor profiles on all of their dishes, even the desserts was spot on. Unfortunately for us now, our new favorite Indian restaurant is in Rome. That’s an awfully long trip for us from Virginia. ☺️ Hopefully we will make it back again someday. Well at least we have our take home leftovers to enjoy tomorrow.
