A 40-50’s era old fashioned drive in restaurant with a canopy and abundant parking. We are open every day from the end of February until the very beginning of October, with the exception of Easter and 4th of July. We sell delicious regionally famous homemade rootbeer and Redhots (our hot dogs with special sweet chili sauce).

You can’t go wrong here! I got a couple chili dogs and some fries! Being kind to the employees and leaving a tip will go a long way. Come around lunch time and everything is hot and fresh and make sure to use the salt on the fries!

Well I was misinformed by a Ryan Clayton bc there are no fried green tomatoes here but all the food is beyond good definitely worth the trip in my opinion. This place ALWAYS reminds me of my grandmothers and always will. I will be posting photos as soon as the deliciousness is all done.

This is the best hotdog in the world. It truly doesn’t get any better then this. The magic is in the sauce they put on the dogs here. I wish they served them in Arizona. I sure do miss them. It’s a must stop for when we visit family back home. Great service with unbelievable delicious hotdogs that are very inexpensive!

This place is The #1 best chili/sauce dog in this state. They have a plethora of choices for food, it’s not just a hotdog shop that’s for sure, I’m especially partial to the corn dog nuggets but ALWAYS at least 2 chili/Saucedogs every single time I go. If you’ve never been here before and your in the Kankakee/Bradley/Bourbonnais area, stop by this place and get yourself a Saucedog you’ll never have better!!

This place is classic and has been apart of Kankakee for a very long time The workers are awesome Of course you have to either take your food or eat outside but it is worth it. The food is really good. A lot of people eat here because it may be a small place and sometimes there’s a wait in line but the food is awesome. I appreciate the service I appreciate the kindness and I believe that you can get a Green River here which is a drink that is like none other. I usually order the chicken tenders with fries which is usually about nine bucks.
