Overall, the food is tasty and typical Mexican cuisine for the area. The prices have steadily increased, while portions have decreased. The dry erase board has specials written on it. If you order one, check what you are charged. They’ll correct the price but consistently charge the wrong price. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Plan on spending $20 per person.

Don’t believe the reviews unless your tastebuds have survived two world wars.. I’m glad to experience what it was like to have taco Tuesday in a prison flavor profile. The $20 Fajaita plate had the leftover chicken surrounded by veggies 100 to 1. The chips and salsa could’ve been swapped with paper and ketchup and it would’ve been a close call. Don’t do cheese enchiladas Al carte. The cheese is not included in the cheese enchiladas and is billed separately. We paid a cheese fee three times. We could’ve just put our ordered queso on top of it had we known it was a separate charge. They made our margarita with gold tequila instead of silver and would not change it or remove it. The only redeeming aspect of this place is its proximity to Taco Bell.

Nice. Simple. You know what you’re getting. The margaritas are nice, the environment is fun, the staff is lovely. The food is nice too, and for having american-mexican food, you already know the flavor profiles, but this comes in on the hearty, rich side of the ball. It’s great! Watched a match of U20 WC Football, and wouldn’t have wanted to watch it anywhere else.

Honestly we should’ve seen the empty parking lot and lack of patrons and walked out.
The margs are premixed with poor quality tequila so when I asked for it to be remade with the top shelf I ordered they couldn’t do it. The food flavor was so shocking, as it was nonexistent. We had three staff members come check on us, but none were able to offer solutions.
Also, after asking for the fourth time for the check, there were extra charges on the bill.
We were told they couldn’t take anything off the bill, despite us not eating it or drinking the drink. (We only asked for the drink to be removed, not the meals.) they said to come back and they would comp the next bill…

I visit Hixson often to see my family since my husband and I move around the country a lot. Right now we live in Denver…Denver has EXCELLENT Mexican food btw, so I’m a pretty good judge when it comes to Mexican restaurants. Now this place was great when it opened, but they’ve remodeled and expanded their menu and bar now. Everything my husband and I have eaten has been delicious, plus the staff is both welcoming and attentive. Such a great place to unwind and have a yummy meal. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, and the location is a bit discreet, but don’t pass them up if you like Mexican food. You won’t be disappointed at all. They’re wonderful!

Great little place just a few minutes away from Chester Frost Park and Campground. Live music on a Tuesday night was an added bonus. Seemed to be a family run resturant with great service. My son had what he said were the best fajitas he ever ate here.

Came in here for the first time I don’t think I will ever be back the food seem like it wasn’t cooked all the way. It came out cold. my son’s quesadilla cheese wasn’t even melted I can make a better quesadilla at home for him. The service seem like he was upset we came in. For what we got I could get better food at Taco Bell
