We were staying at the Hamilton Inn and decided to walk over for dinner. Best. Decision. EVER. The food was incredible. So fresh, and beyond our expectations. Service was fast and friendly. We will be going again before the end of our trip for sure. Totally recommend!

The tacos were okay. The place was busy and for some reason the server did not give me the burger menu initially. I ordered from the regular menu and then saw them take a burger out of the kitchen. I asked the server if there is another menu and he said yes we do have a burger menu. Not sure why he didn’t give me the menu when I sat on the table. He didn’t cancel my first order though.

Tried the Perogis yummy! Followed by a salad topped with French fries, apparently at Pittsburgh tradition. It was good!

Scored some great Burg Pierogi’s with onions and sour cream. Okay beer selection. Walking distance to the Hampton Inn.

They weren’t really ready for the large group of Legionaires coming out of a meeting that was held in the hotel. The staff were very friendly and happy to try give us the best meal. The classic Caesar salad was very filling and tasted good. The Angus burger hubby ordered finally came out just enough time for him to get a couple of bites in before he had another meeting. The name of the restaurant is now Caroline’s instead of Jackson’s. I hope if the American Legion decides to come back to this place, the hotel will will be able to handle it better with more help for the wait staff in the restaurant for Friday afternoon, evening, Saturday- whole day and evening plus Sunday morning.

Is now called “Caroline’s” and is as about as disappointing as you might expect from a business hotel restaurant. Chicken sandwich was tough, stringy, and chewy. Decor looks like cross between a Walmart and an operating room. Bright white eye straining florescent light and cheap uncomfortable furniture.

Our waitress was very nice, just not overly attentive. The menu is quite small and no original creative recipes. Our meals were good. Requests were not followed, like no tomato and extra mustard.

Can’t believe this is a hotel restaurant! Would come here a couple times a month if I lived closer. The salmon on my Caesar was fantastic.
