Located in a historic building in New Market, VA. Wonderful atmosphere with paintings, a connected (small) museum and items to purchase. I did a morning walk and would get a Hot Mocha every morning. The folks here are super friendly and treat you like family. They made a special order of cupcakes for my daughter’s b-day. One of my favorites in NM.

Stopped in for a cup of coffee while traveling and was very impressed with the menu. Prices were very reasonable. I got two scones and s large coffee for just over $10. The sandwich menu looked delicious, too. Not far off the interstate. Definitely worth a stop.

Amazing coffee, great bakery items, and delicious food. My last visit, I had the pesto provolone grilled cheese wth a caramel latte. Both were outstanding. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very inviting. Best coffee in town, for sure!

Great place for a quick coffee pick-up or a tasty, light breakfast or lunch. While you’re waiting for your order you can check out the mini-museum located on the same floor which features views and personalities of New Market in the 1860’s. The Strayer Building which houses the cafe happens to be the headquarters of the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation, a small group of historians dedicated to preserving historic land in the Valley.

Came here for coffee on our trip to Shenandoah and was impressed by the wide selection of coffee (both cold and hot options) and the variety of flavors! I got a hot maple spice latte and it was delicious & my husband enjoyed his brown sugar spice latte. The inside was super cute and the staff were friendly and we got our coffee really quickly. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area (plus the building has a little museum in it if you like history)!

Stopped here on a whim as family and I were on a long drive from SC to MA and needed lunch. I got the walnut pecan salad and my husband got the Italian melt – both were absolutely fantastic! You could tell the food was fresh and homemade. If I were local, I’d be a regular for sure.

Tourist stuck in town a couple hours waiting for new tires. Stopped here for breakfast. Had the special flatbread and it was to die for. Huge portion for the price. Lovely place, surrounded by history.

It’s a small and cozy Café located right off of route 81 in New Market, VA. They have the best coffee in the area. I had ordered egg, spinach and fetta croissant and the croissant was perfectly toasted. The spinach and fetta complimented the egg and it was rich in flavor. Their blueberry scone was made to perfection.
