This unique food spot came highly recommended and it did not disappoint! The staff was very friendly and the food absolutely delicious. The menu is extensive and varied, though I recommend trying the authentic African dishes. Three of us dined in without issue, though note there is not a lot of seating and, instead, lots of carry out orders.

This authentic African restaurant impressed me with their flavorful and distinctive food. I ordered the lamb rice. It came with two different kinds of rice and juicy lamb with a lot of special sauce. Service was fast and the price was great with a big size. One entree was big enough for two people. The first bites were amazing. However, I got sick of it easily because there was too much sauce and oil. Anyway, their food was unique and flavorful. Their mango smoothie was the best!

First visit. Tried the chicken and rice. The spicy was too spicy for me but not spicy for my partner. The plantains were good. Also tried the beef ambassador which I really liked (flavor and flaky pastry) and chicken sambus ( beef was better). Parking was full, had to circle around.

I’ve eaten at over 10 Somalian places in Columbus and I think this one had the best quality of food. It’s a counter where pretty much everyone picks up the food to eat elsewhere so the atmosphere for dining in is poor. The main reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that when I called, they didn’t have the item from the menu that I wanted and then the guy tried to hang up on me instead of allowing me to choose a different item. When I arrived, they had my order by not everything, so I had to wait several extra minutes. But the food itself was excellent.

Food was awesome!! Staff friendly and gave good recommendations to try! Tried fufu and salmon for the first time and this pictured here is lamb & rice. I normally don’t eat vegetables but this was seasoned well and cooked to perfection! A must visit. Also I was traveling so trying African food in Ohio was different!!

The food was awesome and the service was as well. You have the choice for carry out or you can sit in and dine The parking is hectic kind of limited on parking space as the building shares space with other businesses. But the food was very good delicious. I do look forward to visiting this place when I go back down there if I’m back in town I need to make my way through their menu.

Outstanding. When you order lamb (and I’m assuming it’s similar with other meats), they give you a decent amount of meat and it is delicious. I speculate maybe they slow cook it because it is tender and moist, yet not under- or overcooked.
They have limited space and only a couple tables, so it’s not the kind of place you go to dine-in necessarily. But if you don’t go in expecting that, you’re not disappointed.
