Nicest people. It’s Sunday and everything is closed and my 6 year old had to use the restroom so bad so we pulled over very quick because of the open sign. I was dreading asking due to not being customers and they were so welcoming. 6 employees were nice to us on the way back to the restroom and just as nice on the way out. We were in a rush or I would have stayed but I still can’t believe how kind everyone was to people coming off the street to use the restroom.

Cannot be more disappointed for a $12 Philly cheese steak grinder. Portion size was ablolutley terrible. No attempt to toast the “Hot dog bun” that it came in so it was cold and soaked in grease.
House made chips were also soggy as could be and disgusting
Definitely do not buy this item on the menu.

Recommend if ya want a good Philly cheese steak at a good price to portion and good taste and presentation go anywhere else!!
-10 out 10.

Wow! What a turnaround! The food was great, the service is awesome and they really seem to know what they’re doing. So much different from the last owners. I’m seeing repairs and maintenance that’s been done. As well as new menu items going up all the time, the staff is on par with customer service. Way better than sooooooo many other restaurants out here in Jacktown. The prices are super fair TBH. I don’t know where I could get the amount of breakfast food that I did for this price. Really? 2 people stuffed for less that $27 bucks? Holy Moley

I visited this Coney restaurant recently after noticing new owners and was eager to support a local business. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with my meal. The coneys were so greasy that the bun was actually orange and soggy from all the oil. The onions had a strange, off-putting brown color, and I have no idea what they were cooked in, but it didn’t taste good at all. To top it off, the hot dog itself was burnt, leaving it with a tough, rubbery texture that was hard to eat.

And to add insult to injury, the order of fries I received was so small it felt like an afterthought—definitely not worth the price.

I’ve included photos to show just how greasy and unappetizing the food was. I really wanted to like this place, but the food quality was just not up to par. I won’t be returning and won’t recommend it to others. I hope the new owners take this feedback seriously and make improvements.

Stopped in for a quick bite, wait time was minimal (5 minutes). Coney dogs with fries, they have a HUGE menu. Fresh root beer! Honestly, for a Coney Dog Joint, it’s on par with the very best you’ll find across the nation. Give it a whirl and GET YA A GLIZZY!

My sister and I came in today and really wanted to enjoy a classic diner. The interior was cute and felt nostalgic. But when I ordered a full size of fried pickles and compared it to her full side of cheese waffle fries to share, the portions were extremely different. Ive never seen such a small portions size for a sharable appetizer for $7.00. Her fries were $9.00. There were about 7 pickles on the plate. The manager was friendly and came over to explain that, that is their normal portion size, and she did take them off our final bill. I just think people should be aware of that when ordering, since it is very small compared to other places. Other than having to get our own napkins from the bar, the food that we did eat, was good and the interior was cute.

I grew up eating here and it was just as good as I had remembered. Very friendly staff and good eats here. I love the classic coneys and the fried cauliflower.

Come here everytime im in town, usually during the day, this evening however i was not pleased. Buns were not steamed like they should be. Difficult to chew when your expecting to get a soft steamed bun. Had to deconstruct my coneys to eat them. Coney sauce was Luke warm at best. The cook was going back and forth to the freezer and pulling things with his hands, not changing gloves between trips after touching the fridge multipe times. And the decor fell on us when a hanger let lose and the Christmas lights fell and the decor fell on our table. This wont be my last trip by any means but I will no longer be comming here in the evening. Day shift only.

We had take out. The food is always great! They ran out of onion rings and kindly made fresh French Fries, and refunded the difference. The coney fries are the best! Add sour cream to them!!

What more can you say “the birthplace of the Coney Dog!?!?” Jackson style coney’s are actually different than a Detroit style coney. The Jackson coney is a looser ground beef and uniquely delicious in its own right. Love this historic spot!
