Way to pricey for what you get. Ordered grilled salmon and double vegetables as my two sides, to go. Fast service, it would have been excellent salmon (small portion though), but the veggies were scarce and mainly yellow squash. They put my order in a thin carboard box, so the veggies that were watery ruined salmon’s crispness. The small half of bread was cold, not even toasted, or had garlic or any flavor at all, and they didnt send not even a fork or napkins. I paid $28 for this mediocre service.

It felt like I was in Walnut Creek. Jack’s is a stylish restaurant with a full bar, TVs and an awesome menu. They ran out of country fried steak so I could not order the mighty moose. My second choice was a cheeseburger with garlic fries $15+$1.50, $16.50 garlic fries. This was an incredible 1/2 pound burger. The garlic fries are the 2nd best I’ve had in my life. So good. My friends all enjoyed their meals. Steak & eggs $24, corned beef hash $15 and banana fresh toast $13. Service was excellent.

Friendly stuff, Burgers were good, but if you plan to visit the restaurant with eight or more people, you should know that there will be a 20 % extra-charge – we didn’t saw that on the menu (written in small letters in the top right corner).

Came here for my daughter’s bday. We were supposed to go to BJs but they were a disaster so we had to find someplace last minute. We called Jack’s and they quoted us for a party of 5 with a wait time of 5 to 10 minutes. We drove across the street and walked in and they immediately sat us without the wait. Service responded quickly to us got our drinks, appetizers, and dinner way faster than we expected. The atmosphere was really nice. And my husband and I enjoyed looking at the pictures of the family that owns the restaurant chain. My husband said he enjoyed his steak and I think we will for sure come back here again in the near future. I didn’t get to take pictures of anything else because we were so hungry from waiting at bjs for over 45 minutes.

The Mac and cheese was delicious! The it wasn’t the kind similar to the blue box, this was handmade from scratch with an amazing amount of cheese! The combination of herbs and chicken was a fairly good amount for the portion. A well sized dish as well.

This is a great place to either sit at the bar or in the main dining area. Great happy hour selection. Try the calamari, sliders and lamb meatballs to start. Then order a side car lol or your favorite drink. The polenta is very large in size and full of flavor. The staff us very nice and sociable. I say check it out.

Went here because everything was closed d/t power outage. Walked right in, and we were immediately seated. The power did turn off, but we were still served. The food was delicious!!! It always is (San Mateo). Service was a bit slow, we had to wave down staff for service, staff was friendly and helpful!!!
