Just not the same. Joe and Vic are one of a kind Chef’s. No one can duplicate their food. Hadn’t been since Vic left. Definitely a big difference in taste. Sorry not at the top of my go-to places any more. Spent over a 100 on take out. Missed some details. No bread.. No garlic pcs. in my garlic and oil little necks. Stuffies had no clams.. tasted like green peppers. So many details the Joe and Vic would have covered.. and just realized I didn’t get the white chowder I got upcharged for instead of soup and salad

sorry but nothing like we remembered,,,the Mozembique chicken or shrimp had no flavor whatsoever the batter on the fish n chips was thick and not tasty at all, the guys were happy with their burgers they just were’nt done as asked med rare they were well,,,,but yah was not a great experience for our family at all,,,waitress Jen was nice but the food not so good,,and we were all looking forward to it seeing it had been so long ,,,, Maybe her name was Jess thin girl long dark hair in ponytail were’nt much staff on young boy helped her move the tables, we were there on the 16th not even 2 wks ago…..to be exact,,,,

I have been coming here since I was little. Although Jack is no longer there, his daughter does a fine job keeping the tradition alive. I had the chowder, clamcakes and stuffed quahogs and it was fantastic. I hope it stays in business another 50 years

Jack’s family restaurant was a place my family visited weekly years ago. We were back in the area and decided to give it a try. Well let me say the pork and little necks was delicious. Probably the best I have ever had. The marinade was so tasty. We also got fish and chips, smelts and pasta…all excellent. The service was great considering there was only one waitress. Very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return to Jack’s family restaurant in Warren, Rhode Island.
