These guys are fantastic. Myself and my coworkers stop here regularly for lunch and they’re always on top of things, even remembering the extra sauce every time. Food is hot and fresh and the fries are crispy, everything you could want in a fast food place.

When I approached the counter to order my food, I was greeted by two friendly team members who took my food order right away. I gave this restaurant one star not because of the two team members but because when the manager took over, he was not friendly, didn’t even respond when I said thank you and when his ice machine was out and I asked for ice eith my soda, my request seemed to have bothered him. If he managed his staff a nice machine properly, he wouldn’t have to be tasked with this request. I worked in the restaurant business over 20 years and their soda and ice machine was disgusting. It was very clear that this store does not properly clean and maintain it.each day. I had to go order and just plain gross and my fries were not hot and wilty. This was my first Jack in the Box experience and I will not go back again. In-N-Out Burger is my go-to but unfortunately there wasn’t one in the area I was traveling through and neither was a McDonald’s.

Edit: To the owner, I already reached out to that site, and have heard nothing back. Was there a specific option to choose? I didn’t select the refund option because we weren’t able to buy any food! I selected app support because that’s the first and biggest problem. As for your drivethrough functioning correctly, I’m sure it does! For cars that fit under your height limit. But not humans walking, or campers. Did you read an Ai summary instead of my whole long thing?

I can’t tell you what the food was like, because try as we might, we couldn’t buy any! We were there, we had money, we were starving! It was late, and the only food place open on this exit. We are on the road in a camper, traveling through.

I tried to order ahead on the app and ran into a ridiculous obstacle. The passcode system they use to log you into your app through your email only links back to iPhones, not Androids. So if you use an Android phone, you can’t log into your app, and can’t order food that way.

Ok fine, we’ll just order inside. Ope we can’t; the lobby is closed! Drivethrough only. But we’re in a camper so we can’t drive through there, too tall.

So my husband *walked* through the Drivethrough line, yes, with cars in front and behind him. It was a long line. And when he got there, the order window didn’t register his presence, because it apparently has a car sensor but he’s not a car.

So after all those efforts, still standing in the Jack in the Box parking lot looking straight at an open restaurant, starving, we had to drive away with no food, more hungry than ever.

(Why not call in the order on the phone, you ask? Because I have a disability where phone calls are not an option for me. I should be able to order food in any of the other gazillion ways available, but alas…I could not).

DO NOT ORDER CHICKEN SANDWICHES ON THE APP! Seriously, save yourself the hassle and order something else. Every single time I’ve tried to order a chicken sandwich through this app, I get the same ridiculous message: “Out of Chicken.” Instead of just letting me choose something else, they automatically swap it for some awful, dry burger that’s clearly their last resort. This is incredibly frustrating and feels like a bait-and-switch. Avoid relying on the app for chicken, you’ll just be disappointed. Additional customers service was awful and not knowing when they were going to get anymore. The picture of the truck was making a delivery of Chicken I know this because I was frustrated enough to ask the driver after the first attempt I came back on my 2nd attempt later in the afternoon and was denied again. They told me to come back in 20 minutes while the manager drove down to the next jack in the box to pick up the chicken . Now I’m waiting patiently . Sunnyside, WA is a horrible location. I will continue to keep ordering through the app for my pollo!

So, I had my niece swing through and get my favorite – a Jack’s Munchie Meal with the spicy nacho chicken sandwich. I cracked open the box and legit gasped. It was the most perfectly packed box! Showroom quality, IMO. It looked like a Jack himself packed me a bento of love! Check out the photo! I had to snap it before disturbing it!!
This was a delightful surprise. I expect it to be a bit jumbled but organized. It’s fast food and it’s a Saturday night, y’all. Most places are busy, and that the crew put this level of care into this on a Saturday night made my day. I will let management know that I know they have been running on a small crew, but that the crew they have is doing amazing and it is appreciated.

Original 4 Star Review: I’ve rolled in a few times when they’ve been out of a lot of things due to supply chain issues, but the staff is always polite. They have lately has staffing shortages, but even then, the crew rolls with it. Yes, things may take a little longer, but they have yet to mess up an order.

I’ve never had issues with this Jack in the box, but the last 3 times I’ve been here the food has been extremely greasy to the point where my whole bag is soaked, it tastes old and the service has been so off. Hope they get it together soon because jacks used to be one of my favorites!
