However, he sounded extremely rushed and rude, and I’m not an impatient or demanding person, about two weeks ago, when I came around the same time, they told me, “We are only taking DoorDash orders,” which also bothered me, but I tried to be understanding and thought maybe something had broken or there was some other issue. Anyway , As I continued ordering, he kept speaking with words and a tone that were completely inappropriate for customer service. His tone was very rude and very unprofessional.
Finally, I told him, “You know what? It seems like you don’t want to help me and you don’t want my business, so I’m leaving.” I thought maybe he had a line of cars or a lot of people waiting. But no I was the only car in the drive-thru, and there was only one person waiting off to the side for their order. It wasn’t busy at all. Just me, and one car parked.
I left extremely upset because his attitude was completely unacceptable. He was rude, impatient, and made the whole experience unpleasant. I ended up going to McDonald’s, where the line was very long, yet they treated me kindly and served me quickly.
The man at Jack in the Box was a large Hispanic man, and if he cannot handle the job of providing decent customer service, then I will not eat at a place where I don’t know if someone unhappy like him might do something to my food. He clearly does not enjoy his job, and he should not be in that position.
When I drove past the window, I told him, “You don’t even have cars waiting,” and he responded, “Okay, bye,” as if he didn’t care at all that I was leaving, of course isn’t his business, he would still get paycheck.
If management reads this review, I highly recommend replacing this employee because you are losing business. There used to be a Hispanic lady who worked there and she was always extremely kind. I’m not sure if her schedule changed or what happened, but the man currently working there, an extra-large man, should not be at that window. With that kind of attitude, he is sending all the customers to Macdonalds
You can tell the people working here didn’t choose this job—they ended up here. This was clearly their Z plan. I get it. Honestly, it’s my Z plan most days too.
Chipotle is my A plan. Then something goes wrong. Then something else. And before you know it, I’m staring at my food wondering what series of poor life decisions led all of us to this exact moment.
Not mad—just disappointed. At them. At myself. At the burrito.
Check your food before you leave. Trust no one. Not even your A plan.
Waste of hard earned money!!! Stuffed jalapenos that were fried to a charred dust, tacos that were stale and tasted strange and a salad with no date on it that actually smelled like chlorine or bleach….this place is food poisoning waiting to happen to someone
