Great selection and such lovely fellow Polish people working there treated us like family. Found this place when we decided last minute to camp overnight at Leisure Time motocross and got sausage for the campfire, rye bread, rogale, pickles and so many other Polish goodies.

Stop by this week the first time in about 10 years. I was craving a sausage dog with kraut. They delivered the same product that I got 10 years ago. They haven’t changed a thing and food was as expected. I got plenty of their fresh smoked sausage and other items to take homw to Georgia.

In the middle of nowhere. Never would I have expected to find delicious Polish food but here it is. Polish sausage was terrific and the Pierogies were some of the best I’ve had. The dough was light and tasted great. The sauerkraut and mushroom were perfect. You have to try it out. They also have daily specials if you need hot food and a drink on the go.

Polish owned, And when I told them I was putting more details about the place on the map, they insisted that I take a cold drink for free, and the woman gave me “Polish Slim Jims,” which are about two feet long, thickness of hot dogs. This place has an awesome deli. All polish meats. The owner is super friendly and you can’t beat the prices. Way better than your typical walmart. Definitely worth a visit.

We just left this wonderful little hidden gem down in Monterey Indiana. It is just south of Knox on US Highway 35. There is also a small grocery area where you can purchase Polish and American products. Please make sure you give them a try for a small road trip.
