I used to go to JJ’s all the time. When it started getting crappy and bad they didn’t ask what I ordered for. So I stopped for a while.. so I thought. And it’s got even worse. Didn’t even cook my pizza all the way through they didn’t cut the pizza all the way through. Took them almost an hour for my order. I’m done. I like one of the delivery girls she’s very nice.. the owner was a nice guy. But I’m not going to keep paying for crap. I am so dumb with that crappie Pizza..

Blond lady is not honest. Ordered a Texas Bar BQ and she always prepares a Bar BQ Beef. She lies and says she ”distinctively remembers that I specifically asked for a Bar BQ Beef.” I never ordered a Bar BQ Beef from J&J but have ate many from their mistakes. They are horrible here. The last time I went I sat for 30 minutes because my sandwich was “not quite done” … I finally walked out and no one ever prepared my sandwich. The owner needs to clean out their staff. Worst food service in town.

They claimed that they would refund my money on two separate occasions, the first for the pizza having a hair on it and being dead from sitting in warmer and the second incident that they have not refunded for is when I placed an order at 1:14 and had to drive up to jj’s for a pizza that wasn’t made until 3 pm. Get it together, love how they only respond to positive comments on their reviews. I’d like a phone call back
The food is good when it is not over cooked. I placed an order for pick up and im usually quoted about 25 mins, my boyfriend goes into the restaurant to pick up the pizza and he was in there for another 30 mins because the delivery driver took our pizza for a joy ride..the manager made him wait for the driver to bring it back and then she argued with him that it was not luke warm after being out of the warmer for almost an hour. The service could definitely improve..
Another shitty incident tonight, burnt pizza and the only credit is half the amount I paid or refund me in 5 to 7 business days..what if that was all that I had, im tired of the way I’ve been treated at this location..and will not be back to be honest.
Don’t waste your money or time here with these kids because they do not care about customer service or serving people quality food.

Pizza was real good. I ordered a small. It was smallest pizza for small I ever seen. Its ok tho I’ll have to order medium next time it barely fed me and granddaughter.

Ordered carryout and got 2 pizzas, one deep dish style crust(which is where the ends are folded over) and one of their stuffed crust(which is where the pizza is covered by an entire layer of crust on top) They were both cooked perfect and tasted great.
If you have ever had Key pizza in hammond, that’s who this would be comparable to, except maybe JJs is slightly less salty tasting in the cheese and a little less greasy. Both delicious and now I can reccomend either without hesitation.
Be prepared for a lot of cheese! This one definitely passed the cheese pull test. Very tasty.

Paid $55 for pizza jalapeño poppers cream cheese fries & free 2 liter. Pizza burnt okay we were gonna deal but then jalapeño poppers were wrong & cheddar & also burnt. Called for meal replacement & asked for all new meal including 2 liter as we had already poured our cups. The manager made an issue about including the 2 liter after we just spent $55 & on top of that we buy nearly every week as it’s right down the street. Hit or miss.

Ordered a pizza and bread sticks. Pizza was average at best. Bread sticks are undercooked, raw, and not edible. And they look dirty. Poor quality compared to Lake Station and Portage. Only stopped here because I was in the area. Never again.

The Hobart store closes at 11pm on Saturdays, not 1am as stated on their *current* menu. While “hours may vary by location”; one would still expect menus to be accurate to their respective locations. Google seems to be accurate, so perhaps someone was too cheap/lazy/disrespectful to update the menus. I will take my future business elsewhere. Over the top perhaps… but restaurants closing early happens to be my biggest pet peeve for numerous reasons.Hopefully this post is helpful to others.
ALSO– I may have had a better reaction upon learning they closed at 11 had the person taking my call been a little courteous instead of sarcastic/rude …or not hung up on me, just a thought.
