This place is a fantastic French restaurant! OCabanon serves a wonderful selection of delicious dishes ️ – definitely get the Brien Cheese appetizer with slices of Apple , Jam, and Bread , the Cheese Ravioli, and Chicken in Mushroom Sauce. The staff is friendly and professional, the service is quick ⏲️, and the place is nicely decorated. ️ They have lots of indoor seating and the ambiance is great. I wish I came here sooner!

6/11/25 was looking for a different place to have lunch and I came across this one. I loved the coziness of this restaurant. We were greeted by Debra who is the waitress among other things she does and well too! Everything exceeded my expectations and was very good. Of course, I will return and recommend.

We stumbled upon OCabanon after a morning of shopping and needing some light fare. I’m so glad we found it. French menu is delightful with all of the classics. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was great. He even introduced my husband to a French Anise drink that was delightful. We ordered the mussel entree to share with frites. The mussels were very fresh and perfectly cooked. The garlic wine butter sauce was incredible. We will be back for a full dinner.

This was a gem of a place! Delicious drinks, food and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind to our party which included a baby and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortably set up. It is very family friendly but also has plenty of space for adults only. The little shop next door has loads of wonderful French items and is open all evening so a nice place to check out (and good to walk around with kids). Also rare is to have raclette on the menu – delicious and beautifully served.

I recently had to arrange a large group dinner, which is not easy to do in Manhattan. But the good people at OCabanon made that process quite easy. And the dinner was great. Excellent food choices, nice atmosphere, and friendly & helpful staff. A great place for a meal or a drink at the bar.

This is one of the best places for friendliness, good wine and outstanding food. Everything we ordered was exquisite. My friend and I are from Albany and we took the train down just to eat here and now the rest of my family can’t wait to come down and try it. It was like a treasure to us.

Food was delicious. It was cozy but clearly trendy. The wine list was extensive and they let me try to wine prior to pouring the entire glass which I always appreciate. I got the salmon, which despite the description I did not realize was smoked for some reason. Although I typically dont like smoked fish I really enjoyed it. My friends really enjoyed their dishes as well. The pear crumble was also really nice, it is served with cream cheese which pairs surprisingly well. The service was impeccable and I really enjoyed my time.
The only warning I have is that I do wish this place was a little less expensive for the portions, we were honestly surprised that it was rated a 2 dollar sign, but it is in a busy area with few options. I recommend this as an option for a small group get together.
