Nice place with great food. I stopped by for lunch today. The staff was very friendly, the delicious fried chicken was cooked fresh to order and the price was unbeatable. They keep the place very clean too. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Up until today this was the jjs I recommended. They had a lunch special 2 rice bowls for 12.99 plus tax from 10am to 3pm. Today when I walked in there to get my usual I was told that I’m lying about the sale that they had. I’ve purchased rice bowls as recently as the second of Sept 2025. I purposely purchased 2 gyro rice bowls for 12.99. 1 for my husband and 1 for a homeless woman outside of the store that I legitimately just gave her the rice bowl. The food is decent, but do not lie to the customer in regards to what they purchased. I have the receipt proof. It’s not about the price, it’s about the principal. There is no need to lie about the purchase when all you have to say is that sale is no longer active.

I got the 2 piece dinner plate w/ Tilapia @ chicken tenders. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned with lemon pepper. Also the lady that took my order was VERY friendly.

Hit up J & J Fish & Chicken for dinner—spent about $16 on a 6-piece wing dinner with fries and coleslaw. Wings were crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Fries were hot and crispy, and the coleslaw added a nice crunch. The place had a chill vibe, and the staff was friendly. Definitely a solid spot for a quick, satisfying meal.

Ordered a large gizzards and honestly I feel scammed. Pieces were so small and batter was soggy and super salty. This is the 3rd jj’s I’ve tried and they’re just all nasty. This is definitely the last.
