Let’s start with the food. The French onion soup was great but it go’s down hill fast from there. My burger was sub par at best. The fries well they were over done and like the bottom of the bag. Then the second batch of fries were done ok but were also tiny fries. They also tasted like the oil was not changed in a long time. The restaurant looks worn down and nothing has been done in there for at least 20 years. There are better places to eat for the money.

The food was good. But I was extremely disappointed in the service I placed my order and 45 minutes later the server came back to check on my table and asked if there was anything else that we needed as though she were ready to bring us our check I said I was still waiting for my food and she looked surprised it was probably about another 20 minutes before I got my food which was a half salad and a baked stuffed mushroom nothing too complicated. I did appreciate the owner coming over to apologize and explain the situation.

Tonight was our 1st time in, and I am so glad that we stopped in!! The band that was playing was absolutely phenomenal! They had my husband’s favorite imported , (rare!) and the menu was extremely varied for all tastes. My husband had the braided cod & mussel stew, (a special) and I had a burger. Not just Amy burger, but a very uniquely seasoned, well balanced one. With homemade horseradish mayo, (I hate horseradish, but LOVED this!) The fries were great, and my husband loved his dinner! But truly the best part was was Carolyn, our phenomenal server! She was attentive and kind. Patient and anticipatory of our needs!! Do yourself a favor & run, don’t walk to this gem. You will be happy that you did!!

The food was edible. That’s the best compliment I can give it. If this chef has 30+ years experience, he has wasted his life or completely given up. Turkey sandwich had three slices of generic deli Turkey. Salad with steak had MAYBE 2 ounces of dry overdone steak that resembled processed gyro meat more than steak. There were 12 fries on the plate as the side dish. Food was super disappointing and generic. Service was friendly and attentive. I cannot knock the service staff. Good people. Bland generic food. Save your money. Do not eat here.

Food was mediocre at best and took forever to come. Waitress couldn’t keep orders straight. Asked for no mushrooms in my meal and got them anyway. Whoever heard of chunks of pot roast meat being in an Italian dish meat sauce. Not what I expected. Others in the party were underwhelmed with their food as well.

I had gotten the Cuban sandwich at westmont fest. Loved it!!!! Just had to stop and get one on my way home from work!! Once again absolutely delicious!!!! I would highly recommend it

Got the steak with beans and mashed potatoes. Done to my liking also got to try a piece of oyster as well and I was skeptical but it was delicious. Brown gravy complimented potatoes well

Live near town and saw that there was going to be live music on the outside patio, so decided to go downtown for a Friday night and have a couple of appetizers and glasses of wine and enjoy the beautiful weather. The tables had outdoor umbrellas and candles lit on the tables, the single guitarist played really nice songs and the food was good. This was before the weather in the fall took a turn for the worse and got cold. I was so looking forward to going back in the fall to enjoy the outdoors but the temperature took an unseasonal dip early. Of course you can still go inside to eat, and they still have entertainment inside too, so went back and sat inside. Had very good service and the owner or manager came over to our table and made sure everything was ok and if there was anything he could do for us.

I like old floors and decorated walls very interesting. We went there on a Tuesday lunch which was nice they were not very busy. Nice selection of beers on tap with a wide variety of flavor. We ordered the mushrooms for starter. They were great flavor and not overdone like many tend to do. Nice flavor. We had creamy tomatoe soup and really enjoyed the fresh tomato flavors not just like they just dumped it from a can. I had the special which was a salad the 2 sliders,the beef was nice and tender and I chose the stuffed pepper soup as my side. The stuffed pepper soup was delicious vlend without being to bold or hot. My son had the French dip sandwich which if you have had Arby’s dip this one is way better than theirs it actually had other flavors than just salt. Portions were a good size and all authentic table were really glad we tried the place and knee we would be coming back to here if in town again. Nothing super fancy just good food.
