I ordered a sub from here, it was supposed to be hot. It wasn’t hot at all. Even the meat was cold. The meat was also very salty, as if they picked the cheapest ingredients they could find. J&F has fallen off over the years and it hasn’t been good since the early 2000s. I only opted to eat it since it was offered to me. I tried to warn the person who offered that the food was trash and fell off. Well, they know now after they wasted their money for a cold, salty sub sandwich. Avoid this place like the plague. It’s lost it’s craftsmanship years ago, it’s just another lackluster pizza place in Newburgh like most of them that are around.

Same as the last few decades a solid pizza place overall … sauce has changed slightly maybe its a basil thing … the guy that made the pies left more than 5 years back there was an adjustment period .. they have no delivery drivers so you might miss the oregano smell

Ordered some pizza and garden salad. The pizza bottom is filled with burned ashes . It seems they are not cleaning the oven . The pizza tastes below average. The staff was really friendly and helpful but the food quality is terrible.

The grilled chicken salad was on point. Nice size pieces of chicken along with cucumbers, tomatoes and green peppers with the lettuce. J&F does a really good job on the fried chicken salad too.

Sometimes the food is of an acceptable quality per restaurant standards but this establishment lacks consistency. Moreover, the lack of the owners respect for customers feed back is deplorable. The owner was reasonably approached about the quality control issues however apparently the notion is that I already have your money too bad for you. As a hit or miss customer you may be satisfied. However, as someone who hopes to try to establish a rapport with neighborhood businesses and support your local community you will probably be seriously disappointed. Tipping in an attempt to promote quality service is futile. You have a 50/50 shot it’s up to you. How lucky do you feel?
