I’m in town visiting a buddy of mine and we stopped by for breakfast one morning. I got a short stack of blueberry pancakes and well done corn beef hash- both were spectacular, my only complaint is I wish I had gotten more corn beef hash, it was delicious and made exactly how I asked. The waitress was extremely kind and the rest of the staff was very personable and friendly. One tip, if you come here, the walls have been written over in marker and pens, so I recommend bringing your favorite!

What a great breakfast spot. The atmosphere and decor is the perfect Americana. The whole service was efficient and friendly. They open so early it’s a perfect spot to dine before going into the mountains.

Came in on Saturday 8:30 ish may have a short wait. Greeted with a smile and treated very well. I had the mass confusion. Biscuits gravy eggs bacon on some hash. This is your traditional diner food in the best way possible. I was super hungry so a half order may be more reasonable. Coffee is hot, service is great. Very reasonably priced. I’ll be back here on the way back from the mountains.

Used to be a great place until Brett and his girlfriend came along. Good food. I won’t go back as long as Brett is still there, he is a thief. There are several other restaurants in golden that I will go to. I can’t trust.a place that allows their employees and family to sit in front of the restaurant and smoke weed. Would you feel comfortable taking a chance? Brett is actually a crackhead, he is paid cash because he can’t be on paper for legal reasons. He is a thief. I hope Chris keeps a good eye on him because he is very dishonest. He stole from me be will do it to others. Some of the waitresses in the restaurant seem to forget that being nice to customers really helps if you want business. Don’t be rude,don’t stand in front of your restaurant and smoke weed, instead try to be nice and pretend that you like your job. I won’t ever be back. Waitresses are very rude,especially Shannon. Their cook Brett is a method head,I certainly would not trust anything he prepares. Totally gross restaurant, not what it was before. That’s what you get when you let trash come to work there like Brett. Check your food.

Excellent cafe and a must try when you are in Golden. Food is delicious with incredible service to match. The atmosphere is unique with customers hand written names and notes all over the walls. You can tell this is the place where the locals frequent. Hand carved meats on the sandwiches show the classic style of their food.

Found this place on a Google search while driving through the area. Our group of three really enjoyed our food and the service. It’s a great little place that is not fancy or new, but it is a great local place that is worth a try. I’ll definitely be stopping by again.
