First time back in a while. My husband and daughter loved their food, but me, not so much. I ordered the commodore skillet and should have went with the American (it’s my usual)! Our waiter, Alex, was awesome and attentive, he even offered me a different option (give him a raise) . We’ll visit again!

We just had a wonderful breakfast at J. Christopher Franklin. I had the Traditional breakfast with a pancake on the side. My husband had a Skillet. Everything was SO delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent! Hannah was our server and she was so friendly and helpful! I was here for lunch about a month ago and had the same wonderful experience with great food and service.

Your run of the mill breakfast/brunch restaurant. Generous portions on the skillets. Service definitely needs a bit of work. Had to flag down a server anytime we needed anything (refills, check, etc.)

This is an excellent place for breakfast or brunch. The dining room is bright and causal, and the staff is nice. They’re usually pretty busy on the weekends, but we’ve never had to wait for a table. The skillet meals are pretty tasty and have a hit home cooked feel to them. The eggs Benedict is pretty tasty too.

J Christopher’s is a great breakfast spot. Plenty of seats and hardly any wait. The food is great and fills you up. I got a veggie omelet, English muffin, and potatoes. All delicious. The staff are prompt and polite. They check on you often make sure you are happy. Parking is good but watch for put holes in the lot. A little off road action on the road if you know what I mean. Overall, great experience and I will be back for sure.

We decided to dine here for breakfast as their breakfast menu seemed to have an extensive selection of choices, big mistake. We were seated promptly but then not waited on for probably 20 minutes even though they’d given eye contact and walked by several times. You’d think they might acknowledge your existence (Welcome to J Christopher’s, will be with you in just a minute~NO!) We were just about to leave when someone finally came to ask what we’d like to drink. Our drinks were cold, supposed to be hot drinks. Had to ask for several things we had ordered as evidently they can’t read what they had written down, and lastly the hollandaise sauce was some of the worst I’ve ever had. Drive a little farther and visit Noshville for breakfast, a 180° experience from this dive.

Come here for brunch on the weekends when we’re in the cool springs area. Ask about the gluten-free options they have a delicious waffle and sub gf toast for any bread, even on the eggs Benedict.

Stopped into J. Christopher’s while visiting friends in the area and enjoyed their biscuits and gravy plate while washing it down with a delicious coffee chocolate latte drink that was fantastic! The place itself is largely unnoticeable on the outside, but the inside is clean, simple and has everything you need. The service was a bit slow, but nothing too bad.

I’ve heard great things about J. Christopher’s a number of times, and that comes as no surprise. There always seems to be a lot of people here. The target demographic seems to be middle-aged with kids. The avocado toast with accompanied fruit was okay, but I have had better elsewhere. The prices are low. My husband loves the eggs benedict. He’s been here more times than I have.

Lovely casual breakfast, kid friendly, we came right in and were seated. Had food within 20 minutes. Coffee was great and service was very good. Sausage was superior and the breakfast potatoes weren’t greasy or raw. We were pleasantly surprised at finding this place. I recommend the biscuits and gravy and the pancakes were wonderful. Sampled my kids French toast and you can tell it was made with love! We will be back!
