J Beez is a real hidden gem literally in a small corner unit in the back of a strip mall next to a tire service store. Don’t let the looks of this little restaurant fool you though. They offer a wide variety Mediterranean menu that has something for everyone.

Delicious. The chicken sandwich was fresh, hot and crispy. The veggie combination was exactly what I wanted. Great quality food with attention to detail. As someone with gluten intolerance it’s hard to find something that checks all the boxes but this really did. We ate in and I would recommend that as well. Don’t sleep on this gem!

This has to be by far one of the worst Desi establishments I have ever gotten food from in all of Chicago. I honestly don’t know how in the world they have good reviews. Their food was absolutely disgusting – raw flavor less mush for chicken mince kabobs and the worst tasting rice ever. It looked like a takeaway box of old leftovers. I should have cooked at home instead of wasting my money here. The worst part is the customer service is absolutely terrible. When I spoke to the manager about my horrible food experience – he argued on the phone with me for 30 mins back and forth and was extremely rude and unprofessional. All so he could save a few bucks – keep my money and your bad food and service J Beez – you have lost my business and recommendation forever.

I got the Mix Grill #1 and the flavor and presentation was pretty good. Someone who expects very strong flavors (like many Pakistani dishes) will be left wanting more but I found it pretty enjoyable.

Everything is made fresh to order. Chicken kabobs, samosas and beef egg rolls were all amazing. Employees are very polite and accommodating for both dine in and carry out. My new favorite place.
