We went with some friends on an early afternoon on a Friday in December. FYI – They close down the kitchen from 3-4 to give the chef a break. Our reservation was at 2, and we just had to order by 2:45. The service was ok, but the waitress could have been a little more present. We had to hunt her down a couple times. They have a very large wine list. Also, there are quite a few wines by the glass. They have beer too but no liquor. We ordered off the lunch menu, and all the food was delicious. The entrees came with a very small side salad. I had the Blackened Shrimp and Eggplant. The shrimp were a large size and grilled perfectly. The eggplant was fried and nice and crisp. It was topped with a yummy Creole hollandaise sauce. My husband had the Catfish St Ives. It was fried and topped with a Shrimp and Crab sauce. He loved it. What a great place and great find in this small town!

My friends treated me to a birthday dinner at Ivey’s. It was my 1st time there. Everything was wonderful. Great food, excellent service and lovely atmosphere. I will keep this one at the top of my list for fine dining experiences.

We had to plan a “celebration of life” brunch with very short notice, so we reached out to Ivey’s. They customized a menu for our group of 24 and arranged for us to use the upstairs private dining room. Morgan was great with the arrangements and Amy headed up the service team that took care of us. The food and service were outstanding! it seems so rare now to find a restaurant that has true talent both in food and service. Here’s one. Thanks Ivey’s Team!

Omg I wish I could rate higher. This food is top notch delicious. Recommend having a reservation. I really wish I could have captured the other dishes we ordered but all of us were wowed. Everything is fantastic definitely will be coming back. Good thing to know is they do work with you if you have allergies.

Awesome intimate place…complete with linen tablecloths. Special occasion or treat yourself…you will leave happy and full. Gourmet dining with wide selection including daily made desserts. Lunch prices stop at 3 p.m. reopen at 4 for dinner. They are closed Sunday and Monday. Patio service weather permitting.

The food is wonderful! I love that everything is made with intention and attention to detail. My only gripe, keeping this place from being 5 stars is the ambiance. The place is in a pretty desperate need of a remodel. While it doesn’t hinder my enjoyment of the food, the faded pastel paintings and Amish blonde wood chairs take me back to being in my grandmas kitchen in the 90s.
