Seems like the workers decide that they won’t take calls past a certain time. I’ve walked in before and watched the person at the counter ignore the phone ringing. Don’t waste your time just go to the banana king on broadway.

Unfriendly, poor service, Rude staff. The most terrible food service and experience. The music was so loud the cashier could not hear me and asked me to repeat my order. She still forgot half my order and when I asked to speak to a manager or someone else she said there is no one else . I then asked for a managers number so I can express my concerns, and she stated it was all on google. So I’m here on google leaving a review . Don’t waste your time or money here . All the empanadas were cold and stale .

I stopped there around 5 pm for a quick bite and I was shocked to see a banana king this empty during that time! That should’ve been my hint to turn around and leave. I ordered the chicken sandwich which was terrible compared to other banana kings I’ve had. They use different type of bread which I didn’t like. Even the wrapping they use for the sandwiches is just white paper without the banana king logo on it! It’s like they went the cheap route on everything here. Parking is a nightmare since its on a busy corner with no parking lot. The other one in Passaic is much better and its only 2-3 miles away!

Chicken in the roll of yuca was old and smelled bad cashier had an nasty attitude with my mother and we were nothing but polite to them cause someone else would have taken a bite and smelled how rotten the chicken was they would’ve made a scene. Don’t recommend this Banana King at all! Get your food from the one from Broadway food is always fresh and they are sweet and polite.

Terrible service. Ordered through Uber eats paid 60+ dollars for 3 combos that would normally cost me 40 max and didn’t receive my smoothies. When I called to ask about them they left me on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up on me. No one could understand me when I did finally get on the phone so its still unresolved… Never again.

For shakes they are excellent . For food I wasn’t so impressed by my burger or my bfs chicken. They were like processed frozen and hard. The fries were very good also.

I noticed you get treated differently if your not Hispanic.. I ordered a chicken salad not knowing they put bacon on the salad. I returned back with the salad and told them I don’t eat pork. They basically told me no refund. I would understand if the ingredients were clearly listed but nowhere does it tell you port comes in the salad. If I would have ate the salad without looking I would have been sick.
So I left the salad on the counter no refund no consolation. But I spent $12 on a smoothie and a solid so I figured I could at least give the salad to a homeless person or someone who would eat it. By the time I walk back into the store she said she threw it away. My experience was good until I realized they really didn’t want me there.

Open a bit late and food tastes delicious. It’s also not pricey and they have quite a selection of delicious shakes. However, sometimes it could take a while for your food order to come out after you’ve ordered even when it doesn’t look busy. Like I waited 15 to 20 mins and a Cuban sandwich and Salchipapa. I recommend eating here though and if not I definitely recommend getting a shake here!

Horrible food.
I ordered a steak sandwich usually I order from Bk on broadway. But this place always messes up.
The steak sandwich from here was salty as can be.
Ordered a cubano with bacon.
Bacon was way undercooked.
Had too much grease etc.
complete disappointment.
I ordered months ago a salad and a cubano. Same thing happened and the salad was going bad.
The only reason I ordered here was because the one on broadway was way too busy.
Definitely do not recommend.
Whoever is cooking the food is not doing a great job sorry. But I’m being honest.
I gave it to a few family members to try without telling them anything and they said the same thing as well as that it did not taste good.
Never ordering again. I’d rather wait on broadway than eat here.
