I ordered the Pizza (Bender) and Chicken Parmesan combo dinner, with a side of Meatballs and a Cup of Soup (Country Potato). My wife ordered the 1/2 Tortellini 1/2 Chicken Parmesan. My favorite item is the benders, especially the standard ham, pepperoni, sausage & cheese. The chicken parm is a close second. The meatballs are good, but not an entree contender. I order the soup if it sounds good, because they’ve never done me wrong on soup. The garlic bread is good to have and almost every entree minus the pizza includes it, but it’s not pivotal. My wife enjoyed the parm, and was “meh” about the tortellini.
We arrived at 6 on a weeknight, and there was a 30 minute wait. They were pretty accurate on their estimate. Shay was our server and took good care of us. It felt like the history of the restaurant was in her veins, but I have no clue. She could’ve just started here, but she gave helpful recommendations.
Italian Village is a Murray staple. I mean the book of Murray would have Wheeler Farm, Fashion Place Mall, and Italian Village. This place has withstood the test of time, and I don’t understand the 1-star reviews. You don’t have to love or even like this place, but if you hate it, it might be something to discuss in therapy. The only negative I can say about Italian Village is the amount of cheese that goes on the dishes is enough to trigger cardiac arrest. I love eating the food, and hate the way I feel when I leave. But that’s also the soul of this restaurant, so if it changed, it would lose the appeal of a restaurant founded when man landed on the moon. Like I said, it’s a staple, I’ll continue to dine here, and I hope it’s here for generations to come.

Italian Village is one of those places that wins you over from the very first bite. The food has an authentic homemade touch, as if the recipes came straight from an Italian nonna’s kitchen. The dishes are full of flavor, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. The pasta tastes handmade, and the sauces have that perfect balance of tradition and seasoning. It’s an ideal spot for those looking for a warm, delicious, and truly welcoming Italian experience.
I would always come back!

The server was sweet BUT
We made sure to ask if we could dine in and were told it was fine. We came well before closing, started our meal, and then our food was packed to go without explanation. That feels inconsistent and honestly a bit frustrating. The server also was saying “i’ve honestly never seen that happen before”
As we were leaving and payin. They had cleaned the whole place and As soon as we left our table as well they started cleaning it as well.

Today was my third time here and it was after two years and I’m still impressed with how delicious, large and affordable the food is. I’m so sorry I don’t remember my server’s name, she was fantastic. She was very busy, the house was full at lunch time and even though she never lost sight of anything. Every time she passed me she would refill my soda or whatever. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. I’m going to recommend and take all my friends!

We were seated right away but waited about 10 minutes before we saw our server and received waters. Our server was pleasant but not very attentive. Our food was good. The chicken parmigian had good flavor but too much cheese. The doors are difficult to open and maneuver while pushing a wheel chair.

How does this place only have 4.3 rating when it is SO TASTY!? Staff? Friendly. Wait? Not bad. Dish size? Massive. Taste? Out of this world! I think on a takeout order they forgot the bread once but pretty quick to fix it. Forget Olive Garden, this place is ✨incredible✨.
I appreciate how the garlic bread is actual slices of bread with garlic butter/seasoning on it. Great place, love it.

RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!! My family has come here for years. It’s too bad that a couple employees have to ruin it for everyone! We were celebrating my sister’s birthday with 7 of us total. My wife and I were running late because of a traffic accident. I called and let my sister know and she told me they wouldn’t seat the other 5 until the entire party was here. My brother was in a hurry because he would need to leave for work and wanted to get started. When I got there, I looked and saw my family was not in the waiting area, so I told the host we were with a group. She very rudely told us that they were seated and we would have to be at a separate table! I said okay, can you get us as close as possible. She tried to seat us a booth two booths away but there was a table right next to theirs, so I asked if we could sit there. She said they’ve taken the chairs from there, so I said that’s okay, there’s a bench, and we sat down. Then the manager came over and chewed us out because they have policies for a reason! They had plenty of room as you can see from the picture, and could have easily accommodated us without treating us the way they did. WE WILL NOT BE COMING HERE AGAIN, THEY JUST LOST LONG TIME CUSTOMERS!!
The only redeeming part was our server, Julie, was very kind and treated us well.

Alas, Times sure have changed. I understand the cost of everything has gone up. Maybe smaller portions that taste good are the way to go or charge more to cover your costs etc. etc. etc. Love the salad crisp fresh very good. The lasagna was like a really bad TV dinner. What is sad is this place used to be very good. Hence times have changed. Perhaps hire someone who can bring good food back to your place.

This is an Italian restaurant with store-bought sliced sandwich bread as garlic bread what a joke. The fettuccine Alfredo sauce had no flavor whatsoever. The pizza I ordered was a store-bought pizza dough. I can’t believe I just wasted my money there. I will never go back again.

Pizza was tasteless and most likely store bought dough, to go w/ the sandwich bread garlic bread, and zero taste chicken fettuccine. Beyond disappointing and absolutely not worth the price. I could have made this at home or gone to anywhere else and it would have been 100% better. How is this place in business????
