Island Spice never disappoints, pricing love it, proportions are generous, food always tastes fresh, jerk chicken never dry or to spicy, steamed cabbage is delicious and seasoned, and curry chicken flavored just right. Give them a try and say Hi to Miss Nelson. On Fridays they make Oven baked Mac and cheese by noon get your order in early I hear it goes fast, that’s the next thing on my list to try.

Amazing food. Got me some stewed chicken with rice and peas. Rice n peas wasn’t dry, wasn’t saggy, it was just rice. That fall off the bone stew chicken brought me back home. Compliments to the chef!

Online and the sign on their door says they open at 6:30am from Monday to Saturday. However, that’s not true. They actually open up after 7:30am. I’m here at 7:17am and they are still closed. Every time I come after getting off work at 7am the restaurant is NEVER open.

Awful! Ordered stew chicken ($9.60)meat was old discoloured and had that “trashy” taste and appearance to it. It actually made me sick and threw up. Service and portion size was ok. Location and atmosphere wasnt bad its off Whalley Ave so it is what it is. Steam cabbage was good rice was ok but food overall needed more flavor and seasoning. Do better is all I can say.
