What a gem, I went because a couple of friends told me how good it is and WOW it’s fantastic food the flavors are very fresh and complex and delicious. I had curry tofu, it was sensational as was my daughter’s multi curry which had several meats including beef several ways oxtail and a couple more.

This was some of the best food I’ve had in quite some time! I got the curry chicken and it was unbelievably tender, juicy, and flavorful. I tried to keep it healthy with sides of cabbage and collard greens and the flavor was something my tastebuds won’t be forgetting anytime soon. If you want your kids to eat their veggies, this place gives you the best chance. Not to mention, once you start getting through your chicken, you’ll find an amazing bed of rice that soaked up all the happy memories of the rest of your meal. Just to top it off, these were some of the nicest people I’ve encountered in a while. They were extremely considerate of any allergies or special requests. My girlfriend is vegan and we are so excited to have a place like this in our town. Go give this place some love because they are certainly giving it out to us!

I’ve eaten here a few times and the food is delicious! Also, the owners are wonderful people. This is my favorite restaurant in Johnstown and it’s truly a hidden gem. I highly recommend this place to anybody who wants great quality food for a great price!

Placed and order and was told it would be about 50 minutes. No problem! They called 2 hrs later and stated he was leaving in 20 minutes. Still no problem! 3.5 hrs later food was delivered only to find it was not what I ordered. I called and informed him. He said no problem. I will bring you the Jerk chicken back along with coupons for the reentrants to use. Still no problem for me! Almost 24 hrs later no Jerk chicken and no coupons. Very unfortunate!

The food here is delicious. We got a platter of a combination of many of their dishes (curry chicken, ox tails, jerk chicken, cabbage, mac & cheese, pepper steak, etc.). I would recommend that if you aren’t sure what you’d like. It was all delicious and I am a very picky eater. Prices are really reasonable and you get a ton of food. The owner is super nice and he really cares about making quality food that pleases his customers. He wants to give you an experience, not just just give you your food and send you on your way. Their current place is a work in progress so don’t let the humble dining atmosphere fool you. This food belongs in a high end restaurant. You will not be disappointed. I wish them well in their future endeavors.

A gem in the community with a variety of vegan options. The island stew soy chunks over rice are amazing and so is the cabbage with very generous portions. The service was excellent and the owners were super welcoming and kind to us and everyone there. It was busy, but not rushed. We dined in and had a wonderful experience. We also got to sample one of the shakes that was to die for and will definitely be headed back to try more of the menu. Absolutely recommend.

I’m visiting Johnstown and was craving some authentic flavorful Caribbean food and I came across this little gem of a restaurant. The owner was one of the sweetest, most humble and accommodating person I have ever met. The food was fantastic, great portion size with plenty of options. The shakes are also amazing! Whether you live in Johnstown or just visiting and want some of the best Caribbean food you will ever taste, definitely stop in to this restaurant, you won’t be dissapointed!
