Good old truck stop diner. Great place to stop for breakfast. I should of asked the lady that served us her name. She noticed we had been waiting awhile for our drinks. She noticed other server was having a hard time, and rushed us our drinks and took great care of us.

Mostly healthy portions considering the price. With the economy it’s sort of understandable. The service on the other hand. Phenomenal! Our waitress had been there over 10 hrs and kept a smile on her face. Was kind, and up beat. Will definitely be going back.

Iron skillet has made a major turn around! As a truck driver, all we hope for is to make it home to our families and a decent meal. Fantastic dinner!! This was a very nice dinner located inside of a truck stop. The waitresses were top notch. The food tastes homemade and came out rather quickly. I got biscuits and gravy, my favorite.. the biscuits were toasted and fresh. One of the best places I have had biscuits and gravy. My partner got a burrito with a potato casserole. Very good! The place wasn’t too noisy or crowded. Will be coming back to try some of their other menu options.

Service was absolutely horrible. No warm greetings here. A curt, “we don’t have open seating right now”, followed by shortness as we ordered and were slowly waited on. I understand being busy, but rudeness is intolerable. Our waitress, Heather, was curt and rude to all her customers as we ate. The food was even worse than the service. The bacon was cooked so long it didn’t even have a taste. It was $40 for the both of us to have a traditional breakfast (2 eggs, a meat, hashbrowns and toast) and coffee. Outrageously priced. Will never go back to this place.

They have the best pancakes I’ve ever had. Hands down. These pancakes are fried in butter with crispy edges, soft fluffy and warm in the center, and tastes amazing. The chicken fried steak is huge and one of the best I’ve had as well; crispy and thick cut. We also tried their omelettes and the apple pie dessert. All were delicious and no one had any complaints at all. I asked whether their buffet would ever come back post coronavirus but the waiter said that is now a thing of the past.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I asked a server if we needed to wait to be seated and she was very RUDE and said she had to clean the table, then she yelled at me when I went to another table that I thought was clean. Another server who was very nice said that she still needed to clean the table so I apologized and walked away. As I was walking past them the rude server made a comment and rolled her eyes at me as she told that she still needed the clean the 3 tables. Once she finished she yelled across the room saying that I can seat wherever I wanted to now and rolled her eyes at me again. I stood there and just looked at her and walked away because I’ve never had this experience there before. Everyone is usually nice there. If she does not like her job she needs to work somewhere else. Not sure if I will be returning anytime soon.

Went here for the first time on Mother’s Day. Jen was our waitress. She was right on top of everything. Even though it was quite busy she never rushed us and was quite attentive and made recommendations on what to order. The food was delicious!!! We will definitely be back.
