5.8.25) This place has changed a bit from the original. It was called the Tonasket Saloon all the while I was growing up (born 1951, you figure it out.) Only visited the place once, didn’t drink so I think I played a punch tab game once.
It’s better now, changed a lot, used to be old and musty and dark. Now with the newer business in place it’s nice. Atmosphere is nice. Bar tender(ess?)/ waitress is attentive and friendly. Place looks great and the food is wonderful at least the burger was, but if the burger is that good I’m betting the rest is too. First time in the new establishment, but won’t be the last (love a good burger)

We went for my daughter’s birthday recently and it was awesome. They didn’t have many of the items on their menu but the food was so good we are excited to see the new menu changes coming. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, everything was plated beautifully, the cake was so good I’m still thinking about it. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The great food and service is reflected in the price but it’s so worth it if you can manage stopping in.

Valentine’s Day dinner was amazing! Fresh clams, mussels and lobster from the west side! Amazing steaks cooked perfectly. Kind and friendly staff, live music. It was an amazing night! ❤️

Going in, I wasn’t sure what to expect. There was road construction outside which made it hard to see which entrance to use, I was overly hungry so wanted something hearty, but didn’t see much for vegetarians on the menu.
I ended up choosing the Taco Salad without meat, but with beans added if they had any.
What I received was a crisp flour shell with a salad cascading over the edge like a cornucopia. It was beautiful and delicious. It was also hearty enough to get rid of my case of the hangries completely.
My husband had a burger and onion rings which he enjoyed as well. I tried the onion rings and they were excetional.
We will definitely come back the next time we are in Tonasket!

Wow this restaurant might be the best place to eat in the area. The food was like quality homemade foodies good. The burger was juicy and covered in fresh ingredients. The salad was full and fresh with the best quality ingredients. The taco salad was so good I didn’t even use dressing. Not to mention the atmosphere is so cool with cool floors newly renovated facilities, a hint of historic restoration that makes it place you want to stay a while. The service was great and we definitely recommend this to everyone living nearby or just passing through!

Great restaurant in Tanaska. Chef prepares food to perfection. Excellent bar with great service. We started with the grilled shrimp. Very flavorful and perfectly grilled. We then order chicken fettuccine, again cooked to perfection and the Ruben. I ordered Rubens when on the menu (in search of the best ). The ruben at Iron Grill is 1 of, if not the best I have had. And I have ordered Rubens in restaurants in Boston, NYC, Seattle, SF, Dallas, Chicago, that do not meet the quality of the Ruben at Iron Grill. We definitely be back.

The steak…
I mean… New York strip with cowboy butter was easily the best steak I’ve ever eaten. Perfect medium rare and better than 150$ steak dinners I have had in Boston and New York city. I always come back and intend to try other things but… the steak ( after 4 PM)

We came here after a seven hour road trip and desperately needed comfort food, salad, and good beer. Iron Grill nailed it on all points. We usually share our food, so hubby and I got Cobb salad and bison sliders, see photo, and lurking in the back are Republic Widowmaker DIPA and Georgetown Johnny Utah Pale, both native to Washington. We think they were the best sliders we’ve ever had. The bison was cooked to medium and served on hearty pretzel rolls, along with pickled onions and just the right amount of tangy sweet BBQ sauce. Absolutely fantastic. While the Cobb salad wasn’t unusual, the romaine lettuce was super fresh, it was really big, and we ate the whole thing. We got here right before the switch from lunch to dinner, so it wasn’t super busy. We were also instantly charmed after walking in the door and seeing it is a family establishment – I think everyone here might be related, and one of the bussers is a hard working young girl who was observing how to work the register. I was raised in a small business and have SUCH a soft spot for family run joints. I’m not sure that we’ll ever get back this way, but if we do we’ll be eating here again.

What a great place! We missed the bloody Mary bar but still had awesome drinks. We shared the battered halibut dinner. Four gorgeous pieces of perfectly cooked, very lightly battered halibut with shoestring fries, sautéed fresh veggies and salad. The halibut was honestly the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!
