I had a great experience over here. I haven’t tried the food yet but the drinks here were very affordable. And the bartender was very friendly. It’s a great local dive bar and the people are very friendly to talk to. It’s also a great place to play Pool and grab a drink. I will definitely be back. Also I think they have a DJ every weekend.

First time I’ve ordered from there and the food was fantastic! Seven fish dinners came to only $56.The sandwiches were almost the size of my forearm and probably the best I’ve ever had. The fries and cole slaw were tasty too (although the kind of skimped on the slaw…more, please!) My only complaint and thus the 4 out of 5 stars is that the smoke is almost suffocating in there. As soon as I opened the door it hit me like a wall and even though I spent maybe six minutes inside (did I mention the super fast service?), you have to walk to the back of the premises to get your food so my whole family complained about how I smelled when I walked in the house. I’ll most likely order there again…seriously, it was delicious, but I might have to send someone else in for it.

Oakwood is a good time. Fun entertaining and fair prices.The owners are so nice..Friendly people to talk to…I have had excellent food….especially the taco salad and the homemade soup. I always feel welcome.
