This is our second time dining and both times we have received amazing service.
First time was a female server and she was amazing & attentive, wish we remembered her name. She was great!
But our server this time was really amazing and his name is Leonard!! He was super attentive and everything was perfect timing!
Our food was cooked perfect! Just all perfect!! On a busy weekend.
We enjoyed it all very much!
We got dinner prix-fixe both times.
Meats were all good quality, cooked perfect tender juicy cut into perfect bite size. Our server explained how the each cut of meats will be cooked for best taste and tenderness.
Their starter soup is different each time, first time was Korean pumpkin soup. This time it was Korean dukgook (aka Korean new years celebration soup).
We have tried Ssam and mushrooms for sides, steak tartare (yookhwe) and hwe moo chim for appetizers to share. We have tried all of their savory meal, beef fried rice, mak-guksu, jjampong and doenjang jjigae. And last but not least their desserts yuzu cheesecake, blueberry choux, bingsu and espresso.
Some dishes are average good but their service made it better.
Restaurant has nice ambience and dining area is fairly big and good for big parties, although we recommend making reservations beforehand because the restaurant does get busy, especially during weekends, holidays & certain occasions.
My only comment/advice would be to provide a bit of information to the inexperienced customer. Too many of the non-Korean had no idea how to wrap meat, vegetables and sauces into a leaf then fold and eat in a single bite.
Otherwise, excellent food and very good service at a reasonable price for a restaurant of this type and quality.
Lauren was attentive, punctual, and warmly engaging throughout our meal. Her professionalism and confidence were impressive, and her deep understanding of the menu made our dining experience even more enjoyable.
The ambiance was perfect for a small group or date night — comfortable, stylish, and inviting. Combined with Lauren’s outstanding service, it made for a memorable evening.
Highly recommend both the restaurant and Lauren if you’re looking for great food and exceptional service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
As for the main meals, they didn’t stand out as much. The doenjang jjigae was the only one we really enjoyed. The beef fried rice lacked that signature “wok-fried” flavor, the jjampong noodles were fine but not particularly chewy, and the cold noodles were underwhelming.
Desserts were a strong finish—the blueberry choux and yuzu cheesecake were both delicious, with flavors that paired beautifully.
Overall, we’d definitely come back for the meat—it’s truly the star of the experience!
The space feels cozy yet refined, perfect for both a relaxed dinner and a special occasion. The service is attentive without ever feeling rushed, and you truly feel taken care of from start to finish. Everything flows naturally — you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy the experience.
The quality of the food is outstanding, beautifully prepared and full of flavor, but what really makes this place special is the hospitality. It’s rare to find a restaurant where the atmosphere feels this inviting and sincere.
An absolute pleasure from beginning to end. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be coming back!
and it’s more expensive than other places.
The servers have cooked all the meat,
so you can talk to the group and eat comfortably.
This time, I had a lunch menu with 3 kinds of meat,
and I ordered makguksu and Doenjang-jjigae as a side dish and ate it together.
I had red bean bingsu ($4) for dessert and I was satisfied.
There aren’t many places that sell Korean shaved ice like this.
(And I to go a yuza cake that was almost the size of a bite and ate it at home)
My party and I are people who eat less, and I think the amount here is small.
The store was very clean, and the server was very kind. (He also grilled the meat deliciously)
